i dont think they have so many 10,000 powerbank

It could the 6months offer they have total 10,000 powerbanks

Every sales they can just let go 500 units and no one can proof that they have sold 10,000.

Its a marketing stunt.

On website say 5,000
In the system say 500 units and it sold out in 38 seconds

Then they will advertise on their facebook and website sold 5,000 units sold in 38 seconds
*
What makes you think that they don't have 10,000 powerbanks?

Don't believe? make yourself a trip to China and make your own OEM brand of powerbank, you can order as low as 100,000 unit of powerbank/month if you have long terms business with their manufacturer. You don't believe because you never do buy and sell business before.

If you do wonder why I know, because my customers is doing their OEM brand of powerbank, they told me the price of Xiaomi selling is insane, because the price of their selling are even lower than my customers supplier price, somemore is LG/Samsung battery inside. My customer is using some cheapo unknown China brand battery.

No. Add to cart is not enough. If it is sold out it will be gone from cart.

You need to add to cart, checkout, fill in address and hit 'place order'. Then only you got the item. You may pay later within 12 hours.

that is what i though, but still read some people got item in their cart, havent check out yet.

They might not be the best, true, but I doubt they will explode like those oem brands sometimes do. My s4 adaptor is not often used, still spoil after a year but the note 2 adaptor has been in constant used (charging everything from phone, pb to kindle), so far working well. So it really depends on luck but branded original stuff should have better qc than the unknown oem. That is why I'm willing to spend more for it.

i have 4 samsung phones and all of the original cable spoiled.

I am willing to spend more but no on samsung accessories

i have never doubted whether can they produce so much, it was you that feel that way, What i said was the website sales could be a marketing stunt.

How do you proof the website really sold 10,000 units of powerbanks?

When your cable spoil, is it not charging or it is charging at much lower rate....need to know too coz if not charging I can detect straight but charging at inconsistent or lower rate, have to really monitor the batt charging rate and if unsuspected would never know until it spoil the batt or whatever.

10000 units of powerbank is really small amount.
each person order 2 set.
so only 5000 customer that get to order each week.
if include scalpers that order multiple times. may be 2-3k orders only which is not so much.

charging at a much lower rate. I notice after 2 hours i only get 10% when usually 2 hours it should get at least 70%

Well they could be lucky or maybe the item haven't sold out yet (e.g. Redmi 1S sale on last week's Thursday, it took hours before sold out).

Or probably they mean they placed order but haven't paid yet (you can still change the address at payment stage).

It won't be surprise. Even myself have 3 account to buy, like you said, 5000 customers, 2000 customers average using 2-4 account to buy.

Yes, one of my local retailer getting stock from Directd. Price is exactly higher than them RM100-200 only, while cheaper than RRP.

Speaking of powerbank, i have test some cable but it seems that not all of them can give output of near 2.1A. Do we need that special charge only cable to get the nearest to 2.1A? Btw i found a link for DIY.... not sure if it would work
