boss, i'm using r3 bk at the moment and i never regret getting it at all. only problem is when you are going over bump or go into basement or roof parking. the bodykit is very low and that was why i decided to to change my rims to 17" with (215/50/17) tires even though my preve is 2 months old. yet, i still scratch the front bumper from time to time. go do balancing/alignment also have to tell the shop please be careful where to place the jack... my side skirting cracked when i did on-wheel balancing 2 weeks ago

just to share with you, my car cannot park inside terminal one seremban, ramp too high. palm mall seremban only can park first level roof parking. old wing 1utama open space parking also have to be very2 careful scratched once. there's another forumer here said his r3 front bumper scratched at paradigm mall

speaking about warranty, r3 ppl at proton COE said if using r3 17" rims won't void the warranty. proton edar SC senawang taipan said void warranty. previously my car cannot park inside the house (car porch too high) so just go ahead and change the rims

again like i said, no regret going through all these... except for the side skirt cracked and colleagues laughing at me whenever my car going through bump

agreed with you boss... not practically in daily use. not only that, every time and always have to pre-plan where to go for parking

for me, i was stuck with my old stock original inokom atos for 9 years, so now just wanna try and enjoy my ride more

Actually only reason I wanted the BK coz I think it looks really nice on the Preve. No worries, appreciate the heads up Mr. Judge! Well, we'll see, if it gets too annoying perhaps I'll have it removed after a while. 

They fit as per original specification right so removing it should not damage the body? Hmmm was looking forward to it but now i'm more worried instead so either install or sell it off

Yup that's me! Paradigm mall was first incident. The Akademi Etiqa then Genting Hotel parking, then Wisma Sime Darby and many more. We can almost populate a list of ramps that our Preve with R3 body kit cannot pass through without touching the bumper.

Fortunately I have learned to stop or slow down at ramps and speed bumps, so far no crack yet, only scratches at the bottom of the bumper.

Need recommendation of dash camera, so far many websites recommend the G1W (or its variant)

There's a reason why branded are a bit more expensive. Most don't use lithium batteries. They use capacitors instead. That means the risk of fire due to heat is low. Lithium batteries tend to expand after some time and they might cause fire if they over heat. Dash cam gets heat up as you park the car under the sun.

Personally I'm using Papago Go Safe 110. Acceptable video & audio. I simply park under the sun. The dash cam is placed behind the rear view mirror so it is not that obvious. I've been using it for more than 1 year and the recording is as good now as it was when new. So it handles heat well.

Night it is not so good. But then again, the only night recording that I like comes from DSLR.

change my 2 tyres after 47k++ mileage (almost 2 1/2 years) due to excessive wear. use same brand name and profile (champiro bax 2) at kum chung battery & tyres service, pd at RM 285 per tyre including B+A+Gas 

I find the stock tyres on the Preve Turbo (Champiro Bax) to be adequate in terms of performance, grip and braking. Noise levels from the tyres are acceptable as the sound from the engine is louder and overwhelms the sound from the tyres at higher speeds.

Though the Champiro Bax tyres emit a screeching sound when on bends or corners at moderate speeds.

Bro, just wondering... what's your average speed (km/h) in the Speed Indicator there?

I've always been getting 11.xx L / 100 km most of the time for average speed of 22-23 km/h. mostly 70-80 % drive in city lah.
But i've been browsing through some other preve FC in fuelly.com... majority much better than mine... just wondering if something can be done to improve my FC T.T huhuhu

still would move on slope

yea i do drive highway and urban driving since im studying a bit far from kl,

to be honest,im picking preve not because of PROTON,it because the value and the features i get from those value compared to Almera E

btw,how the preve handling,is it bumpy during highspeed,or less bumpy,because when i drove the myvi before,at 140-160kmh its really bumpy for no reason,when i drive my dad's nissan serena at 160kmh,its does bumpy but manageable compared to myvi,so how does Preve handle at highspeed?

Hook for holding the boot tray. The boot tray only came with pre-ANCAP Preve. ANCAP Preve with 6 air bags don't come with it.

So means that 2 metal holder there is to make the layer of the mat flat when the Stock Tyre is being replaced by the Spare Tyre.

So when the Stock Tyre were in the boot then the mat will be uneven due to the different size of Tyre that's why they created the 2 holder in order able to put the mat above it and make the platform surface flat.

Now me got offer RM 5k rebate and 3 years FOC service / warranty 5 years.

at mudah.my there are 2 choices for preve boot tray, rm95 and rm165 (seller said pri proton). last time i asked at sparepart shop in seremban and they quoted me rm265 for the tray
