November Tips of the Month
Originally it should be Hiroshima Miyajima oyster. Because November to March are Japan oyster season and Hiroshima Oyster are the best. But recently alot forumer here are going Kyoto. Arashiyama are one of top choice.
The food that really capture me at Arashiyama are 嵐山いこい
Location please refer to map. Just beside the Hotel 旅亭 嵐月
During lunch time you can buy thier Bento set Or have a Oden (関東煮) set. Oden are this shop primary selling point.  Best part of this restaurant are the river view.
Lunch was awesome...!!! — at Togetsukyo Bridge, Arashiyama. Unfortunately wit less awesome lunch bread, nugget n hot coffee.

anyone got any idea ??

According to japan guide is a (YES), but to certain places only. N it would be raining in most places, so sightseeing would be limited. -> http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2273.html

"The typhoon season reaches its peak in August and September. Typhoons usually hit the coasts of Okinawa, Kyushu and Shikoku and cause strong rain and wind in wide parts or all of Japan for about two days. Luckily, typhoons are often followed by perfectly clear weather. The weather in September can still be quite hot and humid, but the crowds of August have mostly disappeared."
