y minakami town looks like ghost town one
a lot seems like abandon hotels n houses
the same goes for areas around mt. haruna and abit at lake chuzenji
not sure if it is due to lack of tourism activities or younger ppl all gone to bigger city?

From my recent visit, is true...although they don't inspect u for any tattoos, they will inform u in advance that tattoo is not allowed.

sportshoe still ok for that weather, the least u buy heattech socks enuff edi.

plan only ma if can wan to tour japan 1 mth:

1. long distance train ride
2. bike tour along the coast of japan
3. hiking the northern alps
4. n to wrap things up, n open bath facing the pacific ocean

With AAA view, hotel will definitely cost a bomb...!!!
