Err.. I'm also traveling alone but I will stay at my friends' place, they need to work and I'll have to explore on my own. Kinda exciting yet challenging for me because I don't speak Japanese and their super comprehensive transportation service... I need a lot of time to study on the routes. sweat.gif

Still I took up the challenge and will go on 30th January, let's see what will happen to me then. laugh.gif

beware, customer service in KIX suck in english
u r better off reading the signboard urself

ordering food is simple, their menu is full of pictures
and u might need to learn how to operate their vending machine... yes.. in the restaurant
no cashier and no one taking your order wink.gif

- Slot the required amount of coin
- Press your desired menu
- Collect the receipt
- Pass that receipt to the cook

if we r implementing vending in msia, it will be very complex
imagine ordering chicken rice... with chicken thigh + siewyuk no fat
or kopi "Kosong" ice

simply said, chef wont take special order
u must follow their taste brows.gif

Cheap sashimi at the public market was the favourite part of okinawa. I don't really do much shopping but there's the shopping street. Don't expect it to be happening like Osaka or Tokyo la.

Quite nice to drive around the island, speed limit around 50kmh only. Easy drive. Most tourist spots parking also free and easy to find (maybe not summer holiday time). I wanna go back there next time for the other smaller islands and for diving. laugh.gif

Tonchin, Muteki-ya (Rated by local the best, but I find it not suitable for me, but still nice), Tori no Ana (Chicken based broth, MUST try), Taishoken (For Tsukemen, his student now operates the rated best Tsukemen in Tokyo Station, Rokurinsha).

For Udon, I like the simple Hanamaru.

Hanamaru and Yoshinoya is coming to Mid Valley soon, I hope they could retain 80% of what I tasted in Japan.

My album got some of the photos.
