Kindly tell me if this procedure is flawless.

A. With stock rom version

1 Root phone
2 Install Flashify
3 Using Flashify
3.1 Backup current stock recovery img
3.2 Install CWM recovery img from post #4
4 Backup stock rom version using CWM recovery

B. To update to another rom ex. B001 to B007

Q. Do I need to do items 1 and 1.1 or just go straight to no. 2 below?

1 Open Flashify
1.1 Restore stock recovery img to replace CWM recovery img
2 Install updated rom via manual update from post #4.

May I ask? Is this selling on lowyat? And the accessory easy to get?

No no, Z3 tablet, not Z3, Z3 tablet have a 8" display 

So x1 is a phablet and z3 is a tablet? Then it should be no problem on phone calling right?

I downloaded the rom from the German site, but there is only the file "Update.app" and not "auto_upgrade.cfg" or "unlmt.cfg"

Uncle, so you got OTA to flash even when you have CWM recovery?

Did you have to reflash stock recovery first?

My current ROM is B007, no updates available, anyone has any news about the impending updates? Or how can I change the ROM to this B012 version? Thanks for helping.

My device have Germany rom B102 but no OTA update notification yet

Anyone manage to update the latest version OTA for 501L(B012)? I can't do the update and when I checked the update package it seem like the build.prop might be the cause because it shows funny characters. Maybe Huawei Malaysia didn't or forgot to save it as GBK file. Frustrated.

Do you mean that the only known CWM Recovery (in chinese) is effective on Kitkat ROMs (like the 7D-501L B102 saerdryl is dealing with) ? Or I misunderstood?

Joytest... following page Rooting and Roms way of rooting, the Chinese website has another download direct to Android phone.. apk file. Can I just install that in my phone and root it using it.
