I have used all the kitkat versions - Taiwan, German n Malaysian
I don't find anything significantly different among them
I wont say any one of them is poorer or better
Just don't fret too much over this

Mine is flawless as is still same as day one
Mine always in a flip case

Zero problems for me as I wear baggy pants n shorts with deep side pockets. I could even fit in Nexus7 n Tab7 tablets . This phone has thin bezels n is only marginally bigger than Xperia Z Ultra.

One is a very big size phablet while the Note4 is a common size phablet. Based on specs alone Note4 is a straight winner. The cost of Note 4 is at least 2.3-2.4x that of this X1. Your decision will solely based on what you wish the phablet for.
X1 is great for media ( audio n video), reading ebooks or mags n extreme excellent battery life ( easily 12-14 hours). I had given my 5 sen quick review ( see page1) n its performance is just above average.
The Note4 performance will definitely be better n if you need SPen than is auto your choice.
Those who like to flash stuffs will prefer the Note4

I would rate Note 3 as snappier. There are at times certain minor lag in X1 but I deemed acceptable. It has much less bloatware vs Note3. You should try it yourself to assess this . Different users has different expectations . Even iphone at times I find it lag too while ip fans will not agree on this ( they will die die say is very smooth n does not lag at all ). If you buy this I highly recommend to install kitkat on it to have a smoother experience
You will miss most of Note3 unique phone features ( besides Spen) moving over
This X1 now mainly use by my missus n I rarely use it as a phone but more of a mini tablet in my hands.

Try Huawei sales outlets

Main phone LG G Pro2 while Oppo Find 7 is secondary phone
Note4 haven't decided yet. Wait for launch first , had a test feel than only decide

Just use any charger ( up to 2.1A) will do. I don't even use the supplied charger and similar practice too on all my other phones. Only and always use ipad 2.1A USB charger to charge all my stuffs

Than is probably phone sdcard slot problem. Do send in to service center to check.

I never had such wifi n 3g/LTE problems on my X1 ( on German, Taiwan and latest M'sian Kitkat )
It could be hardware issues if you faced such problems. Why don't you send in your unit to check ?

I had just flash latest SuperSU 2.13 using the CWM recovery ( posted by joytest)

Is probably your WiFi connectivity. Never had such issues since original firmware till last 3 Kitkat versions

I posted in the Note 4 thread about this phone was able to view lowyat Note4/Note 3 threads easily last night and early this morning despite all the numerous GIF and big Porno graphic images posted by one guy. These web page crashed my iphone 6+ each time I tried to load it. The X1 has no such problems
I concluded is due to iphone 6+ memory of only 1GB ram causing such issues

N9 is too big ...max tablet size for me is 8 inch. Gave up also on iPad mini ( bought both wifi n 3G version) as I feel LG G Pad 8.3 or even N7 a more satisfying experience. I don't play games which I believe all Ipad excell better . Probably will consider buying the 64gb N6 but is now no longer cheap as N5

Media on iPad - leceh lah transferring files over. Need to use iTunes. And you cannot use another media app as files transfer over can only be opened by that specific app you had chosen. Unlike Android you just hold down on file n you had choice of ALL appropriate app you can choose to open the file
For better quality on iPad is better to convert video to its format n this is another burden.

So far all Nexus can support USB OTG but you need it to be rooted
