Sad to say but i agree with you on the Appstore vs Playstore.

If smartphone i still prefer Android but for a tablet the best choice is still Apple not because of the hardware but because of the apps.

Hi. I just notice tht email apps in my mi3 does not give me notification at all. I even go to check the permission setting for auto start apps but email apps auto start permission is not in the list. In the end, I hav to download yahoo mail apps and luckily yahoo mail apps give notification when new mail arrive. Anyone experience this?

is kitkat dev rom good to upgrade to? or should I wait for stable rom?

Been using Mi3 for 6 days. It's awesome and the battery life could even last me for more than a day ! Fantastic !

Downside is that I don't like the default ringtones, prefer samsung ringtones. And sometimes Facebook , Facebook messengers and Twitter notifications doesn't show on the notifications bar. Maybe my internet connection problem?

Even if it comes out now the price would not be as cheap as now. mi3 was introduced about 9 months ago that's why the price decrease. Nonetheless, it still will be cheap than most brands. My guess the price of mi3s/mi4 will be around Rm1000-RM1200 when it reach Malaysia.

You didn't grants permission to your apps. that is why no show.

But sometimes it do show, sometimes no.

play around by going to Security > Permission >Manage app permission > apps.

tap apps and tap on Trust This App.

Btw, I'm also loving this phone's battery life



I have like 1 hour and 23 min of voice call, screen time on 52 minutes. 8 hours on battery, now still left 79%.

Really impressive battery life.

Hello I don't see "Permission" after going into Security tap.

I think u got the wrong 'Security'. Not the Security in the setting, is the Security app by xiaomi. The 1 that is on the wallpaper, not the 1 in the setting. Sorry, my bad for not realizing, normal android user sure go the Security in Setting.
