Better option is recovery if you had custom recovery already.
'Wipe data/factory reset' and 'wipe cache' only revert your ROM to default setting. ( Not same as factory reset in your ROM setting )
If want clean personal data, 'wipe storage'. It will wipe your 'user' portion of space ( those pictures/video/app data )

Guys asking another question again. OPO speakers are dual-mono speakers or stereo speakers. I have used so much phone and I like OPO speakers which is clear and the loudest. Anyone can confirm?

Nope, there's a chance will brick your device but it's like < 1% unless you go mess with the system files yourself.

Of course you will still on CM11. LoL

By the way, this CM11 damn nice, I can OTA updates with rooted, and have custom recoveries, which other phones unable to do that.

no disadvantage though some apps are picky about phones being rooted and having SuperUser...

rooting can be done at "any" time. my advice if you're new to android. use it as it is... when there comes a time where u need to root, then root.

If you have to ask questions like this, it is recommended that you not bother or even try. If you were the sort who would benefit from rooting the device, you would have been able to google and read about it online without needing to ask.

small misinformation here; You will not get OTA Updates if you have a custom recovery. you will have to do manual update. You can however get OTA updates if you root it without installing a custom recovery.

It's same like jailbreak on iPhone, if you dont need then leave it. If you felt current status not able to satisfy and jailbreak/root can solve that, then you need jailbreak/root.

Rooted simply means you granted admin access to your phone, nothing more. You can do everything and anything, for example modify and delete system files. This also means anyone intended to kacau your phone, can install virus, modify file/setting without you knowing.

won't really say same. i know many iphone users jailbreak just to install 3rd party apps.

so, naturally, they think jailbreak = install 3rd party.

on android, default without root also allows 3rd party apps.

i recall last time after wipe, it will ask if you wanna install SU when you reboot. but now... no wor. i also dunno what happened.
