Don't tell me your performance was that bad ...

anyway taxation will only be imposed on the "gains" , even if it was on that 5% of winning trades wink.gif ..setup an offshore acct somewhere la.

That was most probably last month before the USD skyrocket and the ringgit fell. Some IBs have revised to 3.85/3.65 for this month. Your friends IB with a 40 cents spread is a rip-off. IB's will never charge you a lower exchange rate than current bank rates because they need to transfer your money over to the broker too.

got message from my IB today. 3.9 deposit and 3.6 withdrawal sweat.gif

ICMarkets but just demo only

After my account at old broker went negative 2 weeks ago, I went life on ICMarkets. I'm quite delighted as the slippage is mostly positive compared to signal provider. Anyway my old broker got back to me today that I might recover some of my money as they are getting their liquidator to take the blame due to unreasonable closing price on that day.

u guys are awesome. my tutor said since it's the beginning of the year, not advisable to trade on monday, tuesday and friday. these 3 days are used to study the market movement because this days are giving false signal and only open position on wednesday and thursday.

so i didn't open any position today. i'm betting on USD/CAD to drop after the spike earlier. good moves? unsure.gif

Well, any broker which survived the CHF crisis is a market maker, cause it wasn't traded in the real market, lol. And also just to save your time, 95% of the brokers are market makers, but just as the sifus here said, if you're good enough, you still can earn money with them icon_rolleyes.gif

Glad to hear you're having it good with ICMarkets. I'll most likely use them with my real account too nod.gif And hope you can get back your some of the money you lost icon_rolleyes.gif
