As in they say the procedure would be dangerous if it's done by someone who is not an audiologist..
actually it's the opposite as there is guidelines that differ from what an audiologist might be used to (for example and i think most would most likely be doing it for hearing aids anyways)... unless they are familiar with doing it for audio gear la...for audio gear, they might need the process to be done with an open jaw, and etc...
they need to know how your CIEM maker wants the mold... such as below...

And I heard some people said that the ear impression process is a painful one(my pain threshold is pretty low).. so I dunno whether should I still consider customs or not(maybe I should just take the risk
).
i dunno... cos i never heard of such complaints... i think it highly depends on the material used to form the molds... and the pain is most likely during the mold release stage... just like peeling off a plaster... sure got a bit of discomfort... QUOTE(yellowpika @ Nov 5 2014, 03:05 PM)
You seem to know a lot about miss utada..
i am a beaver... i dig and tunnel... there are lots of little things that people might or might not know... like she broke her rabbit tooth in half from a drunken ordeal...you realize that in later years her left rabbit tooth is much more straighter than it was originally because she got it fixed...

I have to go and find utada's cover of I love you then.. dunno where to find it though.
it's on bohemian summer live 2000... somewhere 3 quarter of the way into the disc... and she hiccuped on the song and had to start all over again... QUOTE(yellowpika @ Nov 5 2014, 03:05 PM)
Street fighter was also one of the first video games that I've played on the PC too.. how nostalgic..
i was actually referring to street fighter 2 the movie... the song came out during the ryu & ken vs bison scene... i played street fighter in the arcade... and also super nintendo / famicom...
since we are there... you should also look into izumi sakai of zard...one of my favorites as well but no longer around... this is a mainstream artiste but has a couple of anime songs... namely the dragon ball GT theme and ending songs Don't You See and Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku which she written for Field of View who is in the same recording company at that time.. she also wrote a song for teresa teng's final japanese single... this woman (see, i got it right this time) is a legend in the japanese industry only to have a sad ending...
the only concert i can find on utube... what a beautiful moment
this are outtakes... with a lot of mistakes...
she even had another couple of concerts named what a beautiful memory after her passing and every concert is a sold out (imagine those nut cases going to a concert just to watch some video clips)
