Personally, in my previous experience in CC,(yes, I used to post a lot in CC in a lot of those chat threads where people go there and ramble on random crap which was pretty fun, steam threads feels like a slower version of it), I personally would prefer if you are a lady, please do not claim that you are openly in a thread. You can use the female tag as it is pretty useless as there are plenty of males using it as a tarp so stalkers and buayas can't really differentiate between both. Until you proved that you are.

The last thing I want is buayas and stalkers coming into the thread and ruined the atmosphere here. Also, you won't get spammed or harassed by those despos in the forums that are plenty in /k. That happen to CC before and it can happen here too. I have friends aren't tarps in CC got harassed by despos in this forum.

Is this game worth for the price? Anyone played before can give any feedback? Read review online, seems good.

I played a bit.

It is a pretty simple 2D plat former in 3D world with charming art style and pretty good soundtrack. It is a bit simplistic compared to super meat boy but I find it to be fun in a different way.

Just don't read up about the the developer, I kinda stopped playing after reading up about him.

Isn't this the game with the dinosaur on a skateboard?

Wasn't it some sort of single player coop?

That will take me at least a week to get to town then.

Still, longer games seemed to be more fun though.

Whut? Nope.
Well it's something like BroForce or Mercenary Kings I guess.
But the artstyle and etc it better and of course the execution.
I haven't tested it yet but others are saying it's like Contra or Metal Slug in comparison.
On the Xbox it's only single player. But the new Ultra version has new features but they didn't let us know what is it yet.
*
Metal Slug? Fukken sold!!!

I know there is a character that is a dinosaur on a skateboard from one of the Xbox videos.

I hope No Man Sky will come to PC in similar way as STFU. Its PS4 only so far.

It has a time element as well which you could reverse and stuff. That is why it's called time force..
Quite nice la the gameplay compared to BroForce or Mercenary Kings since there is a lot of variety of things.

It's pretty epic, and i'm buying it on day 1 for sure  rclxm9.gif

I know. I seen the videos before and it looks fun. Will probably get it in a sale. Need to save up for Project CARS, Far Cry 4 and civ BE.

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jul 3 2014, 12:47 PM)
I'll be getting No Man's Sky day one as well on PS4. I'm pretty sure it's coming to PC just a matter of then I suppose. See la how much Sony pays the dev for the timed exclusive.
*
I hate it when publishers do that as this will restrict the market for indie devs. I just hope it isn't Sony exclusive as once Sony put in one cent, its a Sony exclusive.

Its alright, I guess Elite will fill the void as I want space combat the most.

I had to uninstall a few games too. Lack of space or got sick of it.

the entire article is about games that you loved up to the point that it became real addiction that's stopping you from enjoying other things.

i still can't stop firing up FM2014 whenever i'm back from work.
*
That happened to me on some games like Borderlands or Diablo 3. It was fun initially but it becomes a chore eventually.

There is one thing I want to uninstall the most: Facebook account.

The temptation is there to nuke the account to dust. I just don't have the will to do so.

Divinity Original Sin sold over 160000 copies so far. Breaking even in the next few days.

So, the question is, why you no buy? Especially if you love old school RPG. Might as well give your money to Larian for their game than EA.

Same. I just stick to turned based strategy games. They are also massive time sinks.

There are tonnes of them in the market too.

QUOTE(cracksys @ Jul 3 2014, 07:10 PM)
my story goes the opposite of that.

due to playing championship manager (previously known), i grew fond of watching real life football.  laugh.gif
*
Perhaps that might happen to be but for now, I have no idea how to play the dumbed down ios version till now. Apparently you can get the iOS mode in the PC version as its just the faster pace version of the normal mode.

I don't know why, I just can't get into watching football. Even though some how I'm quite like Liverpool.

Its not really a coop game. You can set an AI if you play solo or control both characters yourself.

be glad they pushed back the division eh?  brows.gif

Knowing firaxis, I'd say the game can wait unless you all don't mind paying for buggy initial release. Far cry 4 is something to look forward to but I haven't dig for info regarding that game yet  hmm.gif
*
Division, I am still pretty mixed about it. It is undergoing graphical downgrades now.

I bought XCOM on day 1 and I had little issues with. There are always bugs but none of them are game breaking. I really doubt Civ BE will be buggy on release since its using the Civ V engine. I just hope the AI isnt a bunch of idiots.

Yeah, there's too much going on with the division ever since they brought in new studios to help with development. Let's just hope it won't be another watch_dogs, still have high hopes for the game though. Graphics aren't really a thing for me as long as they're not console bad.
*
I am really worried that the game will be another game that follows the same template that exist on almost every Ubisoft AAA game, where you free a zone from enemies and unlock that part of the map.

It reminds me of NFS Underground. Good ol racing game. Never play any racing games for so long already.. Any good racing available now?
*
The recent good racing games are Grid Autosport, Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed and Gas Guzzlers.

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is literally the PC version of mario kart, except it has some intelligent twist on kart racing, instead of having just cars, your vehicle will also transform into a boat or a plane at certain parts of the track. Also, the tracks also transformed where a track that is based on Sky of Arcadia will start as a road track, then, turn into water track and the final lap, you have to fly in the air which is pretty cool Most tracks in the transform in some ways to the other. The driving wise, it is very arcadish but you need to gamepad to play properly. Easy to learn but hard to master sort of game. It also offers 4 players split screen racing on one PC. I do highly recommend this game.

Grid Autosport is pretty good too. It is more on the authentic side of racing where it is based some numerous real life racing leagues while it has a fairly authentic but easy to learn driving physics. The career is a bit lean in content but it still decent fun if all you care is racing. Great car list and also great track list which made it the largest grid game ever released so far with improved business model. It can be a bit hard to learn as it is much more harder to drive than Grid 1 but once you get it, it is pretty damn satisfying. The only problem is the AI which can be very aggressive sometimes. I do highly recommend it.

Gas Guzzlers Extreme is quite fun too, it is sort of mad max sort of weaponised racing game where cars have massive guns strapped on it where you can kill your opponents. The driving physcis is alright, but the chaos in each race made it pretty damn fun. It is also an easy to learn game while it is decently meaty for the price you pay.

The rest, like Assetto Corsa or Grid 2, I wont recommend them at all. AC has business model issue where they had announced 2 DLCs, one preorder/ early access content and one post release content even though the game isnt finished yet. At the same time, the game looked like GT5 from PS3 which is ridiculous for a 2014 game while drives like crap if you do not have a RM600 racing wheel. Gamepad support is still nonexistent till now. AI's dreadful and even the damn menu is coded as a separate program where it relaunches when you start or quit a race. Grid 2 is kinda being overshadowed by Autosport, so better get Autosport instead, unless you like drift heavy physics.
