QUOTE(keong24 @ Jul 23 2014, 10:10 AM) Looking at this.QUOTE(lcy851031 @ Jul 23 2014, 10:35 AM) No. 7 vacated after suarez leave. And this.I think BR will reserve it for our "marquee" signing. now 7 to 11 card is: 7 (empty), 8 (Gerrard), 9 (Lambert), 10 (Coutinho), 11 (Assaidi) Currently only straight 5 number at Liverpool squad is: 20 (Lallana), 21 (Lucas), 22 (Mignolet), 23 (Can), 24 (Joe Allen). The difference is like the land and sky. I almost cried.. How to challenge CL lar like this. |

Anyway, judging from the last few friendly, Emre Boleh looks like a potential flop after all.
Btw, I watched last 10 mins of MU match, their new signing Herrera is so damn good, his passing is superb. This post has been edited by AnythingK: Jul 24 2014, 01:08 PM |

QUOTE(reehdus @ Jul 24 2014, 10:25 PM) I'm actually surprised, I thought the squad was worse than that judging from the outcome. Other than Coates, Kelly, Jones, Borini and Ibe, aren't these players who regularly play in our first team or first team backup? Sigh, I had been repeating over and over again, but the optimistic guy will find all sorts of reason to defend our lost.Come on, we simply fuked up all d friendly match, except the one we win(which is a narrow win too). Doesn't need to compare which club facing good or bad team, we lose it fair and square, and our noisy rival win it fair and square. Btw, noticed some comment saying that this is just pre season friendly, the players will not give out their 100%, so this logic must apply to other club right? So why they can win and we cant? Well, let's just see the remaining match, and I wonder what is the full squad that kept on been mentioned? Regularly last season first team player with all the new comer? With all this poor performance, the next friendly when Liverpool will field their first team squad, they must win at all cost, or else I don't think even the optimistic fans can find any reason. |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Jul 25 2014, 12:05 AM) cheer up bro... you feel bad about 7th place team 7-0 win this morning? Well to be honest, not shitto given. I will only comment after our full team vs Man City on next 2 matches later. Nah, I doesn't give a shit about them, I mentioned them because a few posts here were talking about them too, and their comment simply contradicting themselves. Yea, if when we field our full team vs MCity, and their performance happens to be like shit, then I guess I will be fking speechless. I got to say this again, Emre Can doesn't look good, hope he doesn't flop, but I just doesn't have any confidence with him. |

QUOTE(melt @ Jul 25 2014, 10:10 AM) I dont think anyone is pressing the panic button but it is really a concern when your youth team looks like shit while the other looks great. Indeed. So those who say you doesn't give a fuk to friendly, indirectly must mean you doesn't give a fuk to our youth team right? Don't forget the youth is giving their 101% to impress BR.If you dont share the concern well good for you. QUOTE(keong24 @ Jul 25 2014, 10:35 AM) So you're saying Liverpool deserve to lose every damn friendly? So by this logic when we lose small cup like Carling, you would say the same things too?QUOTE(keong24 @ Jul 25 2014, 10:42 AM) u r right, cant change their blood. So do you mean that the fans can't comment and bash when Liverpool have poor performance? The fans must close their eyes and pretend Liverpool are good, then they only deserve to celebrate when Liverpool perform good? but wish i dun heard something like woooohooo i knew this is our season some sort of comment in the middle of season if v doing well from the same mouth. Sorry but I had been refrain myself from replying you, but too bad I can't do it because every single comment made by you either doesn't have logic or the comment are contradicting themselves. |

QUOTE(Patt_Hup @ Jul 25 2014, 11:11 AM) Yes, fans can give comments and bash LFC with poor performance if they feel to. But to do that in this early stage for sure you will see a lot of comments that are disagreeing with you. Well, yea, I should only judge the performance after all the friendly.Agree with you that youth are important to the team's direction, that's why they have been given chance in friendlies to see if we can find any gem amongst them with the likes of Ibe and rossister. But IMHO, to do well in EPL for sure our First XI will be more influential on whether we are doing good or not if compare to our reserved team. So to say we will do bad in this season by judging the performance of our reserved from the friendlies is not so convincing. |

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Jul 26 2014, 02:56 PM) The problem with buying too many midtable players is that you end up becoming midtable yourself. The summer of 2011 under kennyshould have taught lfc a lesson but apparently it hasn't. Some people would say mid table player might turn out good, and no guarantee that marquee signing will be good with us. |

QUOTE(lp16 @ Jul 29 2014, 01:23 PM) BTW, Remy's failed med but he was playing ok with QPR, France and Newcastle. How come? Maybe it's because Borini refusing to go and we don't need more forwards? Or bigger transfer coup coming up? Maybe different medical requirement, the article did indicated that he is not fit enough. Its good that Liverpool doesn't take the risk of buying him.I think our squad is big enough now, although I still hope either of this targets come to us before the transfer windows close, Reus, Shaqiri, or Benzema. |

QUOTE(jason18689 @ Jul 30 2014, 11:55 PM) Have the damn faith in borini! Everyone made mistaken, and BR made a mistake by seeing something which is nothing in Borini. Simply said, Borini sucks, so deal with it.If he doesn't have something inside him, I strictly do not know why BR bought him when he first in charge at this club! |
