Stupid la...I see arsenal with Ozil, Sanchez now apparently they're bidding 23m for Khedira...is it a lack of ambition on our part? Seems like we chickened out of shaqiri bid, griezman pun tak jadi. ..now want bony or lukaku? For 20+ million?

Exactly, we are now playing in Champion League but why are we targeting mid-table player? We should buy world class star or at least player with Champion League experience.

I doubt we are still targeting Shaqiri after we buy Markovic. However, I still don't understand why are we buying Markovic for 20M when Shaqiri who is a better and proven player is available at just 16M ~ 18M

I believe Markovic has more potential and is more versatile, a trait BR really likes.

Bony, who has a £19m release clause in his contract, scored 25 goals after joining the Swans in a £12m deal from Vitesse Arnhem last year.

He has already informed them that he would want to leave if they received any offers from a club who will be playing Champions League football in the coming season.

I am not sure whether Markovic has more potential than Shaqiri but I am sure that Shaqiri current ability is better than Markovic. Whether Markovic has more potential than Shaqiri we will only know in 3 or 4 years later.

However, I think at this moment especially when Suarez had gone, we should look for player better current ability rather than potential so that we can ensure at least we get top 4 again next season. Anyway i do hope I am wrong about Markovic and Shaqiri and Markovic will turn out to be better than Shaqiri.

As for Bony, I am still not convinced by his ability and hope the report that we are signing him is wrong. Since we still yet to sign him i will stop commenting about him at this moment.
