No idea how old you are bro. I'm 35 tongue.gif

If you're just starting, suggest you don't go for older sets like Funhouse unless you're prepared to pay more. And the price will likely to go higher since it's a retired set.

Stick to the newer releases.

Lol I just started as well...last week in fact. Browsing through toy's r us without the wife while looking for my daughters birthday present.
While at the cashier I saw those mixels set...oooo interesting tongue.gif, and now I'm hunting for them all haha.

Good way to intro my wife to Lego before I sneakily move my way up to the expensive sets tongue.gif .

Congrats. Or should I say good luck? You start with one set, it just grows and grows.

It becomes like Pokemon, "gotta get them all!"

For more photos, visit my blog entry below:

Alanyuppie's LEGO Transformers: LEGO Springer v1.5 (updated with building instructions!)

And below is the direct PDF link to the instructions.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/m4ud2vzq9irl9pp/s...ctions.pdf?dl=0

ps: I noticed the current upper body of this guy looks kinda dated (coz using old method of building arm and shoulder, no balljoints involved) . I might revisit this creation again and improve his upper body if time permits in the future (as a filler project coz 2015 will be my "year of the Transformers Combiner (MOC)" )

Yeah. I have some Star Wars sets even though I wouldn't say I'm a big fan.

Ah, I see. I grew up liking star wars so that was my first pick but now I see the super heroes sets aren't bad that's why I'm also starting with that.

I don't have the set, but those look like different colours to me.

Look through the instructions again maybe you can spot the difference.

I had an issue with the Ghostbusters set too with silver and transparent pieces.

You can also try looking online for the instruction booklet.  Sometimes the colours are more noticeable on a computer screen.
