this LEGO Ideas like look exactly of what is being created. . .

One of the rare case where original builder made his/her MOC almost perfectly until the are no room for anymore improvement.

Not a bad outing to mighty utan.. my first visit looted 670 parts @ 500gm = rm100. Thats <15 sen per part biggrin.gif

seriously its hard to dig for needed parts. if only they separated the parts into JUST 2 or 3 category ...... my life would be much easier.

the small parts are buried underneath the bigger ones.

at first i was using my hand to korek to find the small pieces..
its a hurting process indeed! hahah

then after that, no more hands! use the shovel! hahaha

korek punya korek... I only found a blue right-door last Sat. I need a left one too, so I returned again on Sunday, but the task is overwhelming. Finally given up. Only then I found out such a blue door almost extinct for the last 20 years . And its found in 7848: Toys R Us City Truck , and this year's 60056: Tow Truck. Gonna buy this set to get the doors.

Mighty utan PAB came from sets from recent years. So before you aim to dig in their bin... use peeron.com to check the probability of finding the part you need by verifying which recent sets have them. Otherwise its a futile effort.

I just loved the pricepoint of these cars ($24.99,info from eurobrick.com). Looks like they wont burn a hole in my wallet.

The parts offered from sleek lego cars is gonna be useful for my MOC.

I noticed that since SW is highly regarded as a cashcow licensed partner for LEGO company, they are willing to product new mould to accomodate the need for their sets to make it more realistic. The windshield is very specialised in the set above.

my first post, need advise from bros here,
just bought my first Lego set...i mean exclusive mine..
previously bought some for my son....
so I bought the BTTF De Lorean set...
managed to build it with some help from my son..
after we complete it...my eager son try to put Doc and Marty into the De Lorean....but cannot fit in...

I know this is exclusive set, where the Lego set were most likely for display and not to play with....so I can conclude that both cannot enter the car???
*
The playability is still there but you have to make compromises I guess. Be creative with how you play with it... make up stories like why the Doc were left behind or something like that. But judging from the price, I believe many prefer to keep it intact/unplayed because fearing parts missing in the process.

Been a while since I posted my LEGO MOC in this thread.

here's something just for you guys =) and its not even in my blog or flickr. Just a single photo I snapped before I left for work this morning .

95% done . Just need to cleanup the colors and add in finishing touches like the other arm, toes and strengthen the tail. then its good to go.

Its a commission to build Beast Wars Dinobot.

(btw my FB account was killed /converted into a page, coz FB suddenly suspect my account as non-personal. duh. So I'm off LOM at the moment. _

im the opposite. I hope they're stickers so I no need apply them and use those slopes in their pristine condition. I can't build sleek interstellar MOC with those printed tiles ,especially sponsor ads LOL.

Wrapping up my latest MOC, Beast Wars Dinobot. This one is a commission piece by a fellow Transformers fan

Since I prefer to build LEGO TF inspired from G1 Transformers series (most cars or mechanical-looking beasts/animals), this MOC is a slightly different ballgame since the mode is organic-looking. I'm glad I got enough right parts in brown and similar tones to pull this through.
