Thanks.---
Honour 6 has microSD compare to Mi4.
I prefers EMUI than MIUI
Wait for Kirin 930.

Unfortunately this video below is in pure Mandarin however one thing which can be assured: These bunch of kids are still in their tertiary studies and they really poured out their effort, money and unadulterated comments comparing Mi 4, Honor 6 and One Plus One. They have also stressed out points and also being vocal in their opinions which made sense:
http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNzgzMTI5NDYw.html Honestly I would fully agree with this Mainland reviewer. For English readers, perhaps you may view the video review done below by a rather excellent reviewer from India, Ash from C4ETech who also procured his own Honor 6 handset not via supplied media demo set by the manufacturer: Note 1: Reviewed units in both videos features the Mainland Chinese spec units whereby dual sim function comes by default, as opposed to the single sim mode that both India and KL has. As in the words of a Panda Land fella:"哇操, 这岂不是少了功能吗?!" (Translate: WTF, doesn't this mean a phone with lesser functions?!) Note 2: India has started selling the unit on 6th of Oct 2014 via Flipkart. And IMHO: It is true that at the current price point of RM 999, there might be no handsets available in the market with such specs at the same time having further backing and after-sales serviceability from the manufacturer themselves. Therefore under such circumstances along with limited compelling alternative in this country makes this handset seemingly to be a reasonable choice. However please do note that there are also consumers out there who are willing to go for other exotic handsets from the same country albeit higher price, un-official after sales channel etc may not feel this way. For me? I am one of the latter ones. Just my 2 cents. This post has been edited by young_jeezy: Oct 7 2014, 05:59 AM |

Honor device is designed to blur the different tier between Mid-ranger and High-ranger Flagship. Just like they did to the Honor 3C

Mi4 LTE...hahahaha.. they need to pray more for their supply chain..and are you MI employee? Even not launch here you already knew the price ya??Hardware Snapdragon 801 vs Kirin, basically the current top processor (until 805 from Note 4), totally blows away the Kirin in 3d graphics department. Camera front is 8mp vs 5pm. Rear similar. Both also support LTE when available in Malaysia. Price also same, rm999 or below. I don't see anything that the Honor 6 is better. Anyway, Mi4 is using plastic battery cover right |

They don't need to pray more for supply chain. Currently Huawei using the same tactic like Xiaomi to sell limited stock per batch so that can control the stock. If I'm not mistaken, the price of Mi4 is maintain the same like last year Mi3 price announced. If you know how to do the convert/calculation, the price tag is more or less the same.Anyway, Mi4 is using plastic battery cover right The Back battery door of White/Black as I read last time is some sort of plastic if I'm not mistaken as well. But is customizable in the future like leather/wood etc. |

Based on previous release prices, Mi4 will be the same price as Mi3. So rm900+ eventually drop to rm700+ when Mi5 comes out. Anyway, Mi4 is using plastic battery cover right Read my post, I am talking about the metal band, not rear cover. Nobody is stopping u from buying Honor 6, but Malaysia will only see single sim version officially launched, for me there is nothing worth considering to buy at rm999. I did not consider Mi4 as I have another favourite phone the Meizu MX4. To me it's better build, bigger screen, better 20mp camera, faster CPU, real aluminium frame compared to Honor 6 for the same price or cheaper. Meizu and Honor 6 both have similar Gpu, which is far behind Adreno 330, but I like Meizu' design philosophy better, especially those slim bezels it looks like a floating screen in the dark. I'm a fan of the Mi3, not Mi4. For me Mi4 and Honor 6 both suffer from identity crisis. Both try to be an iPhone. Just that Mi 4 does a much better job. Real stainless steel vs painted plastic there is no comparison. Snapdragon 801 vs Kirin no comparison. 8mp vs 5mp front camera no comparison. Replaceable back covers from denim to bamboo also much more exciting than non replaceable back. However I do admit if stock back that's the only part where Honor 6 looks better. QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 6 2014, 07:59 AM) I just read most your comment. Did you work with Huawei? snapdragon soc its proven good while kirin starting to catching up. If price + spec, Mi mi4 is the most competitive with it. Don't ask me check how many complain at China site, if you often check china site then you will know any brand also get big complain and sometimes certain issue only seen happen at China people complain not others place else. Means I never bother with whatever complain raise in China only. At this minute Honor 6 is better then mi4 mx4 and most of the set in Malaysia, I already using it for about half month with LTE and the price just rm1149! Any one here have a set with similar spec with dual sim ,LTE in Malaysia this minute ? Pls do not tell me that wait until the phone launch official in Malaysia then is cheaper and better then this set or others, if like this better wait for another few years I can assure you that will be a set come out which is better then all the set at this moment! Mi4 FDD LTE and Hongmi Note 4G is started selling in China yesterday, I think Malaysia can get this set this week end or next week, then your can buy both set to compare. |

Yours is not the official version. So very misleading as RM999 is the only single sim one with local warranty. Anyway to each his own, u may like a slower Kirin and plastic painted silver band, perhaps other features attract you. Maybe gpu is not so important for you, each person has his own requirement. For me priority is design, second performance and battery, lastly memory size of min 16GB. Single or dual sim not important for me, hence my preference in terms of current phones below RM1200 and why :-
1. Meizu MX4 - mainly for the crazy slim bezels, 5.36in screen, aircraft grade aluminium surround and superior 20MP sony camera, of all phones I will rank this 2nd behind HTC One M8 for design and built material but only cost RM900 excluding shipping. 2. Oneplus One - Specs and build quality, although plastic but the sandstone back is the best around 3. ZTE Nubia N7 Max - almost the same as Oneplus One in terms of hardware, lacks 3GB ram but makes up for it with Dual sim, software support not as up todate. 4. Xiaomi Mi4 - Don't really like its latest iPhone copy design but built quality and specs are still good 5. Huawei Honor 6 - Basially a twin of Xiaomi Mi4 but plastic painted surround, hardware specs and built material not as good but has dual sim option. For RM1149 dual sim LTE u will need to compare with the latest dual sim phones eg ZTE N7 Max and ZTE N7 Mini, both also superior Snapdragon 801. Both also will be launched in Malaysia. Sorry but Kirin is only as fast as Snapdragon 600 at the most in graphics department. Even Lenovo K910 dual sim ap is a better performer at RM799 and Snapdragon 800. I'll take Snapdragon 800/801 anyday. As u notice eventhough Snapdragon 800/801 is superior, I chose the MX4 mainly due to the screen, design and camera. I do not play a lot of intensive games so my requirement is different. Nevertheless its cpu is quite similar to Honor 6, latest LTE octa core big little architecture from Mediatek. Still faster than Kirin though. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Oct 7 2014, 07:48 PM |

This is the reason why I like this 'inferior' cpu RM900 phone compared to others -
http://oizoioi.com.my/blog/meizu-mx4-launch-mx4-specs-facts/ Still faster than Honor 6 though. As for your questions on dual sim comparison, check out the ZTE Nubia N7/Max/Mini thread, few buyers already got the dual sim version for RM1100+. Right now is a transaction from 32bit to 64bit SoC for android. 28nm to 20nm layer.LPDDR3 to LPDDR4 ram.
If you can hold your urge to upgrade to next year you will see huge drop in price for 2014 flagship once the market fill with those spec which is expected to be in Q1&Q2 off 2015. Although that is just my guess. This post has been edited by tongaz86: Oct 9 2014, 05:18 AM |
