I am also thinking likewise. What is your advise in dealing with the technicians in the SC? Well atleast they are still the technician. Who am I to say that these is not related to drive shaft?

However, after the incident. The car jerks upon acceleration. Drive shaft damaged?
*
I understand your situation. You have been patient and if their efforts has sorted the problem, well & good.

I don't think your drive shafts are damaged. The jerks may be due to the adaptive gearbox relearning your driving style, as they would have done an electronic reset. Most likely the reset would have cured the problem. I can tell from experience, French electronics is real gila-gila la! I hope the engine shut down problem is solved. Give it a few days and see how it goes.

If you encounter any problems or jerks persist, you might want to consider another SC.

The warranty is subjective to different SC..all depend on what the SC said..
*
Completely disagree! Warranty and items under warranty are very explicit, they are not subject to negotiation by any authorized SC.

That's what I thought so too - perhaps it depends on the installer especially an external one, that's why SC don't want to commit and yet there's no process for certification to determine if warranty is void or not
*
Bro, be very careful with warranty. The French are very sticky when it come to warranty claims. If any documents is not correct or warranty is in breach, they will reject claim.

thank goodness and it is indeed good news! i hope they continue giving good customer service.

I think Naza is trying it's best and putting alot of effort to improve. If there are delays,I believe it's not entirely Naza's fault. As you know the French are very difficult to deal with.

It's much worst at VW and Ford SC,real horror stories. So guys, I think if we are sensible and work with Peugeot Blue Box SC cordially, we'll achieve better!

Just my 2cents worth for the day smile.gif

What happen to your temp sensor? I think mine got prob too... now always showing at 88'C, it used to be at 90'C

I am going to fix my water pump this Sat, coolant keep dropping, complaint, found out is water pump leaking.
Left side mirror also not folding when lock the car.
*
Coolant temp sensor defect appears to be common on the 408t. Temp should be steady 90deg, but mine was fluctuating between 70 - 90 the last two weeks. Although I've run up to Penang twice, was not happy about the fluctuations. Finally got it solved today.

After 2years +, this is my first defect. Glad to say Peugeot Blue Box customer service was good. I can see the positive efforts.

Btw did you get your steering problem sorted. Interested to know the remedy!

Hey guys,

I've got yet another problem with my car. This time its the gearbox. It jerks when changing gears but its intermittent. Happens once or twice a day.
A couple of days ago I was driving up hill and the gearbox jerked while upshifting automatically. It was kinda stuck in between gears and my car stalled for 1-2 seconds.

I've complained about this to the SC before but we weren't able to reproduce it during the test drive. All they did was reset the gb but it didn't help. Any thoughts?
*
This is a tough one la bro. The hantu goes into hiding when you want to catch it. You just got to continue till the jerks are more frequent.

In the mean time email Clic, provide them with as much info as you can. Info like speed, rev, engine temp, air temp, road gradient, pax load, jerk duration, at the time of incident could be helpful.

I thought so too but its quite humiliating when it happens with passengers in my new car. Adding this, it adds up to 10 issues in just 6 months and this is not even counting the issue with outside air/smoke getting in which i find is ridiculous to be "by design" in this country.
Beginning to think I got a lemon here. Hmm....

1. Vibration noise from 3rd brake light (Fixed)
2. Vibration noise from pillar where the seatbelt is
3. Vibration noise from dashboard
4. Plastic around gear shift lever squeaking (Somewhat fixed. Still there sometimes).
5. Faulty driver's seat frame (Pending parts)
6. Windscreen washer DOA on day 1. (Fixed)
7. Noisy suspension with rattling noise
8. Brakes intermittently don't work properly. Paddle becomes hard and the vehicle doesn't slow down fast. Need to release pedal and press again (Happens a couple of times a month and very rare, but what if it happens at the wrong time)
9. Gearbox jerking
10. Wind noise from driver's door (Pending parts)
*
Ouch that hurts, really hurts! Don't give up hope bro, I don't think you got a lemon. I hope all will be sorted out. icon_rolleyes.gif

hi guys. wanted to check with u all if i need to replace my break pad can we replace outside Peugeot service centre or no. will it break our warranty if we do it outside?? if not do u got any recommended shop to change the break pad and how much does it cost.

Thanks in advance for ur help guys smile.gif

Replacing brake pads at non Peugeot SC will not break warranty. Give Stephen at Eurotech a call : 012 3896539. Workshop at Kaya Ara, he's former Peugeot trained mechanic.

Appreciate you give us a break down on cost upon completion!

Hi Just need advice from you guys? Is there any difference purchasing from Nassim especially their HQ in Glenmarrie or from other dealers such GE or Advant. Other dealers seems to give much better discount.  Especially during the extended warranty they say it will be better to buy from Glenmarie.
Thanks in advance
*
Talk to Nassim SA and dealer SA. Take whichever gives you the better deal. You can drive a hard bargain since stock clearance is on!

When driving, I can heard the noise coming from front bottom especially during morning and rough road. When it was new car no issue. After used few month, this noise occurred. I tot it was caused by contact plastic and plastic on the steering so I tried to readjust steering position but problem still persist...recently this noise happened very often so I bring it to check when I does 30k service.  I already recorded the noise using phone, later I upload to here...

New steering rack inside seal box. Technician took photo of my car number. SC free alignment for me but balancing i use own pocket money...

My lion still live strong, love it very much..LOL

Tks for your feedback bro. A rare issue, this is not common. The positive point is SC fixed your Lion. thumbup.gif

Let me add on to this poison...Hehehehe...Its been long overdue...

I have installed Rachip Pro2. Its a plug and play tuning box. And there is obvious improvement. There is power gain after instalation. The "push back to the seat" feel is more obvious now than stock. After 2300-2500rpm, you can really feel the car pick up speed faster. And response is better as well. FC has also improve IF you drive normally. This device increase your boost by 0.2bar, so now everytime when u rev and let go the pedal, u can here the blowoff sound. Good product i would say. Worth it. I am now doing about 0-100kmh in 8secs. But with that said, a remap ECU is still better than a tuning box as you can alter more things. And more expensive too, i think. I have yet to dyno it, but will share once i do it.

Secondly, i have change my springs to H&R Sports Spring. The ride is abit stiffer. And it is lower. The wheel arch is not that huge anymore. Handling now is better than the already pretty good stock springs. Would recomend it to ppl who wants a lower stance in their ride.

All in all, i am very satisfied with this car. The potential it has is high. And im impressed of what it can do.

Cheeeersssss....
*
Hehehe..........you real kachau kaki la. This poison I also interested. Is it easy to unplug when send for service?

I think may be still possible to retrieve info from ECU which will indicate performance enhancement or performance device use. Wouldn't want to loose warranty. Any idea on this aspect. Looking forward to your dyno test report.

I'll pass on the H & R sports springs. I'm sure they improve handling. The stiffer ride will be at the expense of comfort. I actually don't mind trading in for a bit more comfort!
