I tried learning Dvorak. I guess it's a bigger jump from QWERTY to Dvorak than to Colemak.

I tried to do it with the standard DCS/OEM profile caps. Problem is that the keys profile is wrong, and after a while, I was down to about 10wpm. Even now my WPM with the Ergodox haven't reached 60% of my TKL and it is partly because I haven't developed my muscle memory with it yet.

So, the same thing for changing layouts. I don't have the right keycaps to try it (and honestly I bought the Granite set to guarantee that I will have a set that will work either ways).

Put a bit of solder on one of the pads. Then move your SMD on to it and in the end heat up the bit of solder to connect it. The other side do as normal soldering style.

Well, at least now I and closing in on the end game, I envision only another three possible purchases;
1. Novatouch full sized/MX Topre hybrid slider.
2. Full set tsangan keycaps for my baby Realforce.
3. IBM Buckling Spring keyboard for my parents.

RF can't do ergoboards, and can't do bling bling properly to demand the respek of the nubians.

If geekwhack ever figured out how to transplant topre switches into custom boards then I'll be going on another buying spree. Although Topre doesn't seem to like to sell individual switches...

What I mean is that you can buy another cheaper keyboard locally and mod it to MX greens and still cheaper than CODE keyboard.
