because i've actually sent it back to the supplier to get it fixed... and they told me that it cant be repaired...

I juz went and collect it back to try and do some modding to "revive" it. When i plugged the usb cable, it worked completely find, except the part where it disconnects if i moved the cable...

Such bad after sales service...
*
PM me or 016 if you need it fixed.

I bring my Filco TKL to work daily using a hand carry laptop bag. With complete padding  laugh.gif

Felt cumbersome plugging it in and out daily but the comfort of using a mech outweighs the trouble.

One day I forgot to bring my mech to work... and one day is all it takes to remind me how much I need my mech everyday.
*
Cumbersome my arse. I do it everyday.

Quite high, but I was just conned off RM3K. T.T .I definitely no longer has the budget to support any splurging.
I went and saw some Model-M/ Unicomp on taobao. Any concerns trying to get it from there?
*
I have the same concerns, Probably gonna bite the bullet and buy anyway wink.gif

I got mine there. Priced also okay, shipping is expensive because of the weight. Kinda sad that the guy who owned it previously changed the screws to nuts, and now Im still trying to find the nut size to open it up. Other than that, it works perfectly. All keycaps are fine, springs feels nice, and when it arrived, was packaged nicely. Just want to find the nut size so I can mod it.

How much you paid for yours?

I DON'T CARE! I WANT MY PCB FILES!

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Jun 20 2014, 01:38 AM)
no news yet. both matt3o and bpiphany didn't respond to dadudeneverabides so we won't be seeing in any lyn tkl soon.
*
We will still see an LYN keyboard, just that we might need to take a little longer.

I'm more leaning towards matt3o for the source files because we can make our own mods.

I had my CPU placed on the ground so I have more clearance on my desk.

So my daily routine involves me looping the wire through the wire hole and crawling under the table to plug the USB  tongue.gif

And the reverse before going home..  Well, quite cumbersome in my case.  sweat.gif
That looks great! Those modifiers though  drool.gif  drool.gif
Seems like you have a thing for DSA profile brows.gif

Get a cable extender and leave that on your desk.

If I have dough, I can have SP do it for me, but I wonder how is the quality if they put Dyesub PBT on their Dolch counterpart of which is Double-shot ABS... hmm.gif Will the font looks as good as the Double-shot? hmm.gif
Their Dolch's font is one darn fine font... that will be my future reference... sweat.gif

And... I like Cherry profile more, but if there's lower profile keycaps, I may just fall for it.. hahaha blush.gif
*
SP doubleshots are relatively thin if you're going ABS. PBTs are usually dye-subbed.

I know matt30 did a pcb, but wasnt it a simple pcb? The teensy part still have to be handwired manually. I might miss his other project, he has toooooo many project. Anyway maybe he's busy or something, he used to replied to me quite fast last time.
Aristotle cherry clone, similar to blue, but in the process of making new one with cherry clear, poisoned by 016  doh.gif

Honestly I don't mind hand-wiring the teensy onboard. Using hot glue gun to fix it on later, short, short pins to minimize profile... HNGGGH

The cut is good, because accordcing to matt3o, the cut tolerance might be different with different machine. Some of his case were a bit loose due to different laser cut vendor.

My complaint, really SC Laser Cut? Should have check on the spot instead of trusting you guys.

Scratches on aluminium plate, there's more actually.

Overall, its ok, but would have expect a much better finishing. Guess cheap comes at a price. Maybe I'll send it for polish or powder coating or something.

dayum bro.... shit out of luck sad.gif

You can polish both of it, but it'll take a lot of work for alu.

Alu top and layered. Layer can choose between acrylic and alu. Will also be using dampeners on screws to minimize vibrations (my biggest complaint coming to cherry switches is the hysteresis). Plate aiming for something similar to lightsaver, where you can mix and match.

Do the mix and match plate means that we can have different layout on a single pcb? Or i've gotten it wrong?
*
Single PCB with semi-flexible layout. The PCB should have multiple slots to accept different layouts.

Not possible with gh60 if you want to put teensy on pcb unless removed 2 1u key as it is not designed for smd soldering AFAIK  sad.gif Or rewire manually
Atmega32u is cheap, but but but tak faham the pin spec sheet. I think got around 24 usable pin. dadudeneverabides have any experience with atmega32u4 chip?
*
teensy 2.0 got less. Teensy++ got more usable pins. For ergodox use around 19 pins. Need teensy++ if going fullsized

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Jun 23 2014, 06:48 PM)
i think the atmega can solder this way since we're going to try gh60 first. imitate giler giler.

Also, if there's a way to add in PWM control for your teensy keyboard then i think we can make breathing light or whatnot. the problem is adding into the existing code and makefile. I've yet to go through the codes. when my switch comes, money comes (so I can get teensy from dadudeneverabides) then i'll try out a few stuff.

was thinking, what if we use teensy 3.1? there's a lot of onboard memory for us to do stuffs with, in which we would have to crack our heads.
wednesday good?
i know nothing also. we're all learning. smile.gif
*
Teensy 2.0 enough memory to do a lot of shit already.

Even soarer's firmware uses about 50%++ only

Aaah, got it, reset will be useful. Can the atmega32u take 5v power from usb or need resistor to drive the power down? Searching for atmega32u kit with solder hole, hopefully there is one so I can test it out. SMD is impossible for me to work on
I have EE background during diploma, and still need kaiserreich to read the spec sheet  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

Should be that way. Teensy boards take USB power directly and I don't see any resistors on the board.

So feiton is having a sale on the older CM Storm quickfire pro and trigger mechanical keyboards

Is it worth getting them? and if yes is it worth spending extra on the Trigger MX red? I like it because it has a full back lit and extra macros.

Can't replace keycaps easily. You'll have a tough time scouring for keycaps that'll fit, look nice and have high quality.
