I think it also has to do with the read speed of the READER, not just the card.


Note that 1 pic is about 3-5mb on average. 1000 pics x 3mb = 3Gb.....so....even if you have a faster card, it will still be slow to read 3Gb.

About the insane chip....Samsung never admitted anything but apparently 4.1.2 bootloaders had some code to bypass this problem.

So by right those who are on 4.1.2 and above have a reduced risk.

You must be from the old batch and out of warranty. If so, you have to root it and try to downgrade the rom via Mobile Odin. 4.2.2 still doesn't have the knox bootloader so you should be able to downgrade the rom.

Sandisk had some initial crappy batches. They seem to have gotten past that now. Mine has been in use for nearly 2 years.

LCD cracked when charging? Did someone sit or step on it?

You could run it via MHL and use the vol up and down buttons for control. At least I think it should work that way tongue.gif

If you put glass close to a heat source, it will expand, and shrink when cooled down. Over time it's going to just shatter. This is probably what happened.

Just check if your battery is somewhat bulging or "pregnant". If it is, you have to replace your battery. Otherwise your cable is lousy, or your port is faulty, or your charger is lousy.

Some of you may remember I have an Allshare Cast dongle. I haven't used it much since I don't get to use the TV all that often tongue.gif

However, I decided to test the Mi3 I got for my kid on the Allshare and my 42" TV.

Surprisingly, it works perfectly.

Take a titanium backup and perform a full wipe. Then restore selectively.

The Note 2 usb port is on a small daughterboard. Should be easy to replace. I asked about a replacement port for the S3, was quoted RM80 for a resolder. It might be cheaper for the Note 2.

Did you remove that yourself?

Mines I don't know. You need places with phone repair statiosn or parts. LYP is likely your best bet.
