What is flex version and what is S/W Version??

when people say flash the phone, does it mean upgrading the S/W version??

I wanna flash my phone to R373 which in the first thread said will make the phone less lag....

Where can i get these?

And i read from elsewhere bout converting e398 to ROKR.... Is this just an upgrade of the S/W version??

I would like to upgrade mine to R373.... Does the lagness reduce much? I'm kinda fed up with the lagness on R372..... But i'm afraid of killing the phone while upgrading.... So would like to know if flashing to R373 helps much, i wanna upgrade it if there's a big difference...

I would also like to know if there's any way of boosting the message capacity to beyond 100.....

Help please....

Go that website to get information/software/MonsterPack that your needed to flash your phone to R373 firmware. read the E398 BIble before you do any flashing to your phone. Dont confuse yourself with all the term.

yep, the phone wil be less lagging when you are in R373 firmware.

so far only 2 software platform version for e398. the R372 & R373. ( windows 2000 & windows XP )

but in R373 still got ...42R / 45R / 46R / 48R / 6FR / 70R & the latest 49R. ( this thing more like the engine ) or ( Sevice Pack )

the flex version more like the add on component.

i bought a compatible battery from The Curve last 2 weeks,

i notice this battery can't tahan long ...nor matter how i try to save the usage still only 1 day.

I bought it at IOI Mall for RM530. I think mine is Ori... cos got Motorola sticker everywhere!!! At IOI itself got mamak... very cosy... maybe we should gather after raya. Now puasa maaa...

Anyway i went to motomodders.net... walauuuwehhh... so many things can do. Dont know where to start... But scared if i install something my warranty will be void. How ah???

if u can see MDM sticker than shd be Ori. Make sure u read carefully and do backup before u plan to do anything to ur phone.

I'm using 512TF now. not lag. the maximum of memory can support is 1GB. but not all phone can.

so, tell the phone u want to buy but must test 1st.
