some friends tell me near Puchong ( perdana i think ) the OSK area got sell from range RM25 ~ RM80.

Hey, anyone here remembered what happened to my phone?

I'll tell anyway About a month ago around 3 PM, I started the flash procedure on my E398. I've also made sure that the phone was fully charged the night before.

So here I was looking at the progress bar of FlashBackup when my phone suddenly turned itself off ... WTH? Was that supposed to happen Of course, FlashBackup just stopped responding after that. I tried turning my phone on again but was greeted with the all familiar Bootloader stating I have a corrupted firmware blah blah blah

Without realising I've got an almost flat bettery, I began flashing another Monster Pack. 10% ... 20% ... 30% ... 40% ... 50% ... 60% ... 70% ... 80% ... 90% ... The smell of success was so near BUT the phone had to switch off again And this time, when I press the red button all I got was a "pop" sound, this was even worse than before

Leaving me no choice I posted my problem here and some nice forumers helped and gave me suggestions on how to revive my phone. Since I've completely screwed up the flashing procedure, the only option I have left is doing a force-boot. Tried a few times but it still didn't work, I guess shorting the pins was not as easy as I thought

Being somewhat lazy, I just didn't bother to try again and neither do I want to open up my phone. So what did I do? I decided on something that lots of people think is risky ... I'm sending my E398 back to shop, which was not a very wise thing to do because I might void the remaining 9 months warranty

Today, two weeks passed since the day I sent my phone back to the shop, I got a phone call from the salesman. He told me my phone was fixed by Motorola and ready for pick up

Hehe ... Looks like it's well worth the extra I paid for the original MDM warranty Or maybe Motorola is just being nice.

altho i m w810i user now.. but i still use E398 as the 2nd phone.. keke..

my set is consider lucky d.. coz not much hang... my fren one a lot hang until sell liao.. but mine 90% scratches!! and the rubber also dropped d

and i forgot to mention one thing.. the BIGGEST downside.. the charger sux...

i m trying to charge my E398 now.. tats why i remember about this.. sad sad..

you just got a dead battery. No need to do any force boot. even if u do, it wil not last cause ur battery is almost dead anyway. you just need to charge your battery with a desktop charger or lend one from your friend.

Nope, tested at the shop with a fully charge battery. Confirmed it failed to boot because of flash failure, but of course I didn't tell the seller I flashed my phone

want to know...what is the max memory capacity that this hp can support..and what brand is the best...i want to change the bundle 64 mmc...then is there any other colours than black n white..so boring since i have both colours

u r lucky cause u phone is coming back ( FOC ?? ). actually u need to download again the MP to make sure the file is o.k.

then flash the R373 enabler flex then only save to R373 MP.

my phone is using 512MB TF now. Sandisk. some of them able to use 1GB also.

my advice is .. bring along ur phone to the shop. Tell them u will buy if the card working in ur phone. Usually they will allow u to test.

oh .. about the charger,

yeah it really problem with the charger.

when lucky.. i can charge with 1 time plug in for continues 2 ~ 3 weeks.
when bad luck .. hehe .. u guys know lah.

so just bought a universal charger from the curve last week. it can charger almost any phone's battery

i personal think it shd be some misstake. may be the RM135 is for 512MB..

Just got my phone back from the shop, and yup ... Completely FOC Seems like Motorola changed the whole PCB of my phone, so I got a new IMEI code as well

E398 only support up to 3 digit free memory. That mean it support up to 999mb only.
So 1gb card should be okay. But for safe side, bring your phone to try it out too. But sometime even it detect the card but browsing files like pic and music in the card can be lagging.

Yup, price for our microSD have really gone down drastically. The retail price is around there.

I think wat tyenfei mean is you need to flash with R373 enabler flex or they call it 42R_for_all at momo. This is to upgrade your firmware from R372 to R373. After that, u can flash it with a R373 MP. Most of the MP available runs on R373 firmware.
