Lol. Is that how you judge a brake system ah?

Persona progressive braking lah.. Japanese cars all sekali tekan ur jantung also fall out wan. Proton's failed attempt at continentalizing the car = progressive braking.

Emergency brake your tyres will still lock.

Progressive braking = the amount of pressure you put on the pedal. The more you press, the harder you brake.
Japanese style braking = No matter how much you press, max braking. (just an exaggeration)

When you emergeny brake no matter which style also you'll step on the pedal habis habisan, rite?

See la.. different ppl different preference when it comes to braking. I'd prefer progressive as it's easier to bring the car to a halt smoothly and steadily.

I don't like the brakes that come on pretty strongly even with a light press, like my dad's car doh.gif. Langsung cannot do a jerk free stop. Persona on the other hand has a perfect brake response for me.

On a side note, I went to a regular air-cond shop to get a quotation. If everything goes well, I'll be having a full air-cond service which includes removing the dashboard that'll be over RM300 cry.gif. On the bright side I can now add some Insulflex into the dash and do some improvements to the inner workings of the dashboard to prevent any unwanted dashboard noise. So far I don't have any dashboard noise, but I have air-cond vents noise. The middle air-cond vent assembly will be replaced tomorrow, and if the side vents are cheap, I'll probably get them replaced as well.

Uh huh. Air-cond servicing for a Persona, if inclusive of cleaning the cooling coil apparently requires the removal of the dashboard. doh.gif So since I'll have to remove the dash to get to the screws on the other side for the middle outlet assembly, I may as well have it done at the same time. Otherwise I'll be paying over RM200 for dashboard removal alone doh.gif.
