Hi all the Sifu, is the reading for RX Optical power too high?
coz I'm quite worry about it, when the Time installer came they just use back the fiber cable with blue connector that left by my previous Unifi installation. Please kindly correct if I'm wrong, I understand that unifi connector is SC/UPC and connector accepted by huawei HG8240H should be SC/APC. what should I do right now? Please kindly advise, thanks

Time Dotcom doesn't seem to be expanding its fibre footprint to any other area... What is happening to Time Dotcom? Contented with the performance in urban area?

anyone who downloads alot from videowood.tv? speed is throttled to 5mbps (im using 50 mbps). when i connect to singapore (10M speed i get stable 12MB/s).

any chance TIME will be able to improve the speed in this?

I hv installed Time Broadband less than one week ago, but the experience I am undergoing is appalling:
1. Very often the WIFI router (ZTE) is not able to be connected from devices. This can be resolved by resetting the ZTE device.
2.  On Feb9, the entire Internet connection is down and the call centre told me this was due to some "fibre optic card failure" in my area.

Has anyone out there experiences similar encounter? Is those "fibre optic failure" a common incident?  Tx.

Connection very good and stable. my latency for gaming always below 10 (normally 5) for Steam game CS:GO

The linksys router sucks and drop often, but since i replace it with ASUS problem solved.

I wish to subscribe for the Astro IPTV package but the last time i check not available in my area (a year ago). any recommendation who should i contact for IPTV subscription?

I keep forgetting to post this... so this time I was browsing LYN and remembered.

This is specifically for TdC (TIMEdotCom) users who torrent (it's not bad news I swear).

Assume you are downloading... Ubuntu via torrent for example... and you are on the 10Mbps package. If you don't limit your download/upload speed, you should be getting close to 10Mbps in both directions...

BUT

If there is a peer who is also a TdC user, there's actually no limit (or a much higher limit) on speed within the TdC network. I noticed a couple of times that my torrent was going at close to 100Mbps (10-11MB/sec)... and both times, the peer that was downloading/uploading at that speed was a TdC peer. I'm guessing that 100Mbps is the limit anyway... it may have just been my HDD was overworked at the time and there is no limit.

So, for the good of all TdC users... if you do torrent, I recommend leaving your upload/download speed unlimited (when possible). All other TdC users will thank you

nothing wrong with this end here too, eerything working fine as normal,.. yeah heard many Unifi user is complaining left right centre 

TIME have quite many plan for personal, small business and enterprise.
the cheapest plan for personal is RM179,the quota is 100Mbps, the price is expensive then other brand.
but you will rather pay more for the speed and connection, because why you won't want pay single cent for poor service

i would rather stop the service after expiry and then resign new term and get new modem + router.
