as ans previously, you can dl 10 BT files in LAN and 10 BT files in WIFI or more... You will eventually max out the DL

If you limit to max 20 connections per torrent file and each seeder limits their upload speed at 10mbps, you will only be downloading at max 200mbps for this file. Hope this gives you a clearer picture of how torrent speeds are very subjective, too many variables that can affect speed.

any connection between limit dl speed and upload speed?

For sure to test out max speed, y limit the speed?

I tried mine and manage to get 26MB/s as I don't have much files to dl, that time maybe total of 8 files...

So asking anyone who does 20 or 40dl per session on the speed?

If seeders are generous and have a lot of bandwidth to spare then you will eventually get full speed, no need to download multiple torrents to max out bandwidth.

I think you don't get how torrent works, if 10 of the seeders you are connected to are only having 10Mbps upload speed, 10Mbps x 10 = 100Mbps only, so you won't get full speed (300Mbps in your case), it is not about limiting the speed on your side, but the it's from the seeders' side.

thanks on sharing on 500mbps dl, no capped here...

Any result from 300mbps and 100mbps?

set channel to highest as possible, and set freq to 80MHz
For 5GHz band, set it to AC ONLY..

Forget to tell, WIFI AC need some tuning to get full AC speed... and this will drop across some time.

Every time when just boot up and start using for 30 min, i will get >290mbps...

Across the time this will drop to 230mbps...

Now i am suspecting my Pce 68 cannot get the higher band channel with 80MHz... will go to asus forum and chase them from time to time tongue.gif

I think we as a user should make use of the fast speed by installing NAS / Media box

NAS can do download, connect to IP camera, sync your wireless devices with auto backup, host local website, provide ftp sharing, and many more feature that we can imagine.

Beside this, media box is a must for us to view streaming video, live TV etc.

But for the problem for existing commercial NAS is, SLOW LAN speed, EXPENSIVE, LOW spec on the HW.

And media box is their FW/software might take ages to update. They are cheap but after 1 year of purchase, there will be none support. If the software might no longer can use maybe in 2 to 3 years time.

I am thinking to build more cheaper NAS, media box with more powerful HW/SW features... with linux/android/open source with unlimited opne source update

Just want to know LYN audience buy this idea?

Thanks

Upload speed can reach full speed.

Download speed can't?
*
1) Try to connect to other server in ookla, Time server sometime give <200mbps.
2) Try to software reset/hardware reset the modem/router and retest
