define very fast, streaming not counted!
if 300mbps, you should get around 38MBytes/s on torrent! |

any 1G router can guarantee a >850mbps speed with cable
WIFI very subjective, I don't think any WIFI router can give 500mbps. I think max only around average 350mbps like that.... Even ac 3200... |

so to fully utilized for example 300mbps...
Tie a PC/NAS to using cat cable to router, set max speed 100mbps. For WIFI AC, average will be around 200mbps.... Hence using both will fully use up your 300mbps... For 500mbps speed, PC/NAS set to max 300mbps, remain 200mbps for WIFI |

THa is y I always refer to average WIFI speed and you all keep blasting that 5300 can get higher la this la...
I test my AC as well... when once after change setting and test, it normally will be higher, after some time of using... it will drop to lower.... hence taking average is the right choice |

QUOTE(Shah.Legno @ Mar 26 2016, 02:18 PM) I think u all should just go change to this Super high end ultimate router from Asus. It got ROG design & ur problem solved. R u the sales team from Asus? If so, please feedback the pce 68 got driver issue in win 10.Asus RT-AC88U Dual-Band Wireless-AC3100 https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RT-AC88U/ http://www.lazada.com.my/asus-rt-ac88u-dua...er-9234562.html I don't think the power plug can be as reliable as cat cable. Anyone notice that time line max out 100 plus today? Yesterday was OK but today it drop |
