I have successfully cleared grift 39 solo hurray !!!

I was kinda surprised i managed such a big time cushion. So i didn't feel like i needed to rush on the boss. The boss wasn't hard in the sense i could die.

I switched from shield glare to steel skin, and it helped me survive so i die less so less time wasted.

my new ranking




i really feel that eye of etlich and steel skin helped me most this run. If i didn't have these, i would had died many times more in the run

*confirmed. He has just cleared 43grift


he beat chang for #1 spot, and he made another history by clearing 43 on top of that !!


looking at his gear, gearwise i feel i am superior to him most part, except he does beat me out in max stats in some areas as well as higher lv gems. but i think i did better combining mainstats/secondary stats for a better balance.


alot of his gear has patchworks around it, for example ....

his shield and furnace lack CDR, so his RORG has CDR, and has a gogok in it to compensate. This is what i mean by patchwork.

cause he loses 50chd from rorg, and bane of the powerful gem (for that elite dmg bonus)



rather than do what he did, i opted to not go down the gogok route, because i was already CDR capped more or less and didn't really need it. I do however need a higher dmg furnace, and a correct stats for the phalanks shield if i want to proceed further in grifts

I was super lucky yesterday. Gambling for shields and Kadala gave me Hellskull, Unrelenting Phalanx & Jekangbord in a straight roll

Other than that i manage to also get a 4k+ dps (4033.4 to be exact) Blade of Prophecy with stats below:-

+1423-1754 Cold dmg
+10% Damage
Increase attck speed 6%
Reduce cd 9%

What should i reroll?

i would go for Strength as a replacement for attack speed. the reasons is attack speed does not benefits the damage of comdemn damage but strength will do. Good luck on that

and i forgot to mention you need a rama gift to open a socket for this weapon after the reroll on attack speed.

As i know Alk was the first person who reach plvl 100 back then, the different is the " playing skills'. i would say even you have better gear than him but you need to learn how to repositioning your toon in order to acheive the maximum damage output. I disagree when people say this game have no playing skills involveas as you can ask your friend to play greater rift by using your toons, can he acheive what you did? In my opinion, regarding greater rift i would say now a days people tend to have better RNG maps and sometimes you need some luck such as elites types or affixes, pylon and mobs density. In order to acheieve the highest ranking of possible you need all those of factors to achieve it. good luck !

yes, comdemn shield is seasonal legendary shield. If you are on non-season I suggest you to try comdemn build on season. Gearing is not a problem now a days.

Lazy to level up to 70 all over again

Guess i will use hellskull for the meantime, and wait till Season 1 ends so i can gamble it off Kadala

Pony build should be able to achieve higher Grift because of Stunlocking and range. But you need 1 of the rarest weapon in game. Furnace.
For gear, beside furnace. You need to get 6 pcs akkhan, No RORG, use Unity and SOJ. Without Leoric Crown, you will need Vigilante Belt and almost every slot on max CDR.
Or many cruz use Gogok gem to make up the CDR cap(56%)

maybe some people use condemn, but honestly i got to watch it to believe that.

so my opinion, and from what i've seen other top saders do, is phalanks for highest grifting.

i'm not having any luck getting any good shields for both condemn and phalanks builds. On the verge of giving.

And trust me it's not on any lack of effort on my part. I even went as far as having 3 people helping me farm for shield, and none of us can get it X_X: el ol el.


And yes heart of slaughter is viable instead of furnace if you can't find the later. Personally i prefer furnace due to elite dmg stack up to 50% versus 30 phys on slaughter.

r u able to keep the perma akarat on?

Perma Akkan is easy now with Leoric Crown (Max 100% effect on Diamond Gem) or Vigilante Belt (Max 8% CDR).

But for Grift Pony setup, Many said had to use Unity + SOJ. No RORG. Meaning most of you slots need to be Max CDR.

For Grift Condemn setup, you might want to use String of Ear belt and Eye of Etlich. Why? Reduced damage on Melee (Belt) and Range (Ammy). MannerCookie (Top Hardcore Crusader) are testing this yesterday night. But I didn't manage to watch it (3am).
