Charge my phone for the first time empty last nite. my usage details:

Duration : approx 46-47hours (nearly two days)

Calls :
1 hr 54 minutes

Photos taking :
80-90 pics (forgot how many, since i deleted few after taking)  tongue.gif
with flash and also without flash

Music listened : maybe 1 to 1.5 hours

Games played : 1 hrs approx

Video recording : No

No 3G, Bluetooth, IR usage.

Is that long enough for this phone?  unsure.gif

impressive battery life i must said. even my K750i first time usage after 8 hours charge can't get such result. tongue.gif

QUOTE(dokidoki @ Jul 18 2006, 02:03 PM)
actually the performance of k800 loud speaker as good as w810i or w800 or k750??
*
slightly lower volume that W810i. but both also stereo speaker

QUOTE(ayatorahxephon @ Jul 18 2006, 02:07 PM)
Just the question I wanted to ask. Is the audio playback any good? The camera is out of the question cause too perfect to be compared.
*
the audio play back for K800i is just similar like W800i walkman player

QUOTE(Joker339 @ Jul 18 2006, 02:36 PM)
Don't have the phone yet - very tempted to walk down to phone shop to get it.

I read somewhere that to enable the image stabiliser you have to use landscape/panoramic (or something mode) - then use the menu and turn stabiliser on.

I think it's on the Sony website... Let me check.... (see here http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=my&...pid=10407#4172)

"Image stabilizer
Improve the quality of your pictures with Image Stabilizer. The Image Stabilizer function will compensate small hand vibrations that can make pictures blurred. It works in two modes:

Twilight landscape
Landscape

To select and activate Image Stabilizer, you need to turn on the camera and go to:
1. Settings > Scenes and choose either Twilight landscape or Landscape.
2. Then go back to Settings > Turn On Image Stabilizer.
"

So tempted but also thinking of waiting for N73 to compare.  However, N73 seems to have no fixed launch date - and looks to be at least 2-3 months more till we see it.
*
please take note those are only software image stabalizer. compare with the real Digital Camera image stabalizer. u still can't beat that. but again... it heps for some photo taking. biggrin.gif

the 8 hrs charging is for 1st time only rite? i think just approx 2.5 hrs just filled up the power, as the manual said. smile.gif

by the way, your K750i first time usage, how long before it emptied?

so it means there is IS? That's good that SE didn't bluff. Not like the PS3 case.

Digital camera will always surpass camera phones, no matter what. The only day it will be similar, would be digital camera has reached its peak in technological curve.

Go take pictures outdoors, should yield you better results.Try taking under bright sunlight conditions (mornin, afternoon?) and do look at your screen if the subject is in focus. You can go near for macro stuff but not too near.
