Sony Ericsson Malaysia Authorised K800i RRP RM1,999. distributor by Midland first. will be available latest by this weekend.

for desperated user, kindly visit Ericserv at AMCorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. very limited set available(i heard 3 set or less, and 1 set already booked by my friend).

they close at 7:30pm today. if u want it so desperately... kindly visit it.

RRP = Recommended Retail Price. i doubt u can get RM1999 as due to all popular and hot model which newly release by Sony Ericsson Malaysia. the retails store will jack up the price to sky high.

i am not sure how much they might jackup. but what we estimate will be around RM2299 or even higher by retail shop.

why not if u can make it to Ericserv now before 7:30pm. pick it up from there so that u can experience the phone first with valid local malaysia warranty?

well... i ain't sure AP... but RM1999 for brand new local Malaysia warranty set is acceptable.

sorry... can't help ya... i don't support AP for anything more than RM500.

because i am happy with my old by reliable K750i. further more i believe the 3 unit of K800i midland set might be gone now... someone already bought it. tyangkage only getting it this weekend... not now from ericserv

latest update....my friends just took the Midland K800i. and found out that the 64MB M2 is not included. so M2 will be bundle with this K800i!!!!!

no problem with the brightness of K800i. equal or same with W810i. for sure K800i haev better features than W810. others than design and weight. the only think that W810i beat K800i is it support up to 4GB MSPD which K800i only support up till 1GB M2.

u will love the push email, net front full HTML browser and RSS features if u are working adult. but if u are youth which like entertainment. u have a walkman player for music. a 3.2mp camera for photo, and a A2DP profile support which will allow u to listen to music wireless thru HBH-DS970.

well, it's ya choice.. better get something better whereby u gonna use it longer than something already happend months back and now u start to use it.

yeap... DS970 is freaking cool~ it's on sales in EURO now... hopefully here will be around September...

it's sad that i got the comfirmation from my friend which got his Midland K800i just now. none M2 card bundle with it. only built-in 64MB memory inside the phone. so i guess u have to come out with around RM300 for a 1GB M2 card.

a HPM-70 original price already costed u RM169. this DS970 give u bluetooth headset function with LCD display and Media/walkman player control as well... add another RM330 for BT headset. so the price RM400 - RM500 is reasonable i guess... agree?

come out guess... u wanna look freaking cool and u don't wanna pay? and i heard the sound quality is stereo and almost as good as HPM-70 too. not like others Bluetooth Headset in the market now... it run on Bluetooth v2.0 also...

what's ya budget dude? if u financially capable of getting a 1GB M2 card and K800i. i would strongly advise u to get K800i.

again.. what W810i can do... K800i can do better. what K800i can do... W810i might not be able to do it(except the 4GB MSPD support).

it's not an high-end issue or not... it's the function u want and the money u have. no one asking u to stop taking lunch, dinner for a expansive... i said financial capable meaning u can afford...

well, i am just giving my point of view and helps ppl to choice wisely. if u found my comments is too bias for u. just ignore it. after all... i never compare W800i with K800i. it's clear that when u come to gadget everyone wanted the best and latest. no one want a 4-5 eyars old PALM nowadays if they can afford.

there's no 3.5mm or 2.5mm audio jack in K800i. but u can get those campatible convertor which allow u to convert the phone fast port into a 3.5mm audio jack and use any earpiece which support 3.5mm jack and continue enjoy ya audio.

yeap... exactly. it's ya money and u decided how much u wanna spend on what items. please remember that there is AP set which is cheaper too. even i don't agree on getting AP.... but i still respect them as a owner which they spend it with thier limit. they don't cheat or kill somebody to get it right?

K800i users,
wanna save battery power please switch ya phone to GSM only. only turn on UMTS when u wanna use it. set the phone brightness to the lowest. turn bluetooth/IrDa off.

to warm up the battery.

what are u talking about? RRP from Sony Ericsson Malaysia this phone was launched at RM1,999. since when it launched at RM2K+?

all because of retailer jackup the price... don't count that one actual price drop.

not only that... please try to reduce the brightness of ya phone to 50% in order to save tons of battery usage there.
