Jangan cakap Malaysia je okay,NATO countries also people don't give a shit about the armed forces before 9/11

When you have peace, the people will not appreciate the people that ensures that peace. But MAF really sucks la, cannot deny that one. The soldiers aren't bad, the institution is

QUOTE(lulz @ Jul 11 2014, 08:17 PM)
Wonder why they use missile, why not a programmed shell? Straighter path and could be cheaper too. Maybe the radar/software is not good enough to track the interception path?

Video related.

*
Missile path is erratic and it's fast . Shells cannot intercept in time

Tu pun 6 bulan cover basic je. hmm.gif
*
That is the most cost efficient option.maintain a 100k standing military but can make room for 300k military in case of emergencies .

If the front part has any ballistic resistance like helicopter pilot face mask then it would be heavy and hot as hell. For gunners and pilots ok la.

Civilians will always be the biggest victims in any war.terrible? Yes. Avoidable? No

I'm sorry if I seem cold hearted but when you place your munitions depots and weapons nearby civilians then their deaths are on you, not the guys firing the guns.

pretty interesting i must say. If im not mistaken MAF has a mock town for urban warfare, but most training seems to be conducted in palm oil plantation  sweat.gif
*
Because that is the most probable battle area . the IDF knows the type of environment they will be fighting in . malaysia does not. Malaysia is mostly filled with jungles, small towns and oil plantations so it would be logical to primarily train in that area

I am getting increasingly sick and fighting the urge not to reply to idiots who keep harping on our assets being for merdeka display only and not sent to gaza. I realize my iq will reduce if i reply to them but gosh is it painful to read and see it being shared virally.

They talk cock pandai la. If they're so worried about humanity then contribute to red cross, UNICEF, and other organizations not go kill themselves being foreign fighters.

I may not be a saint but at least I did my part

Aku rasa boss ada kena tahan tangan kot... As usual.

Kalau under boss lama, ada tuh, kau tau saya tau siapa... dah lama dah ada satu pulau mati kena lanyak dah.  (even though I don't like what he did to Sabah, but he's the man with huge balls, daring enough to protect the country)

1 kali kidnap = 1 kali carpet bombing.

Cukup 3 kali = ground sweep sampai bayi pun kena. No mercy.
tapi apakan daya...
*
cannot compare la those days.political correctness wasnt the IN thing back then

in the 90s i could request an airstrike with a single call while in 2008 I needed confirmation from 3 observers and a UAV to make the same call.mind you the former was a peacekeeping mission.

If I am not mistaken.... MIFV is a version of KIFV which was bought in hurry during Malcon peacekeeping in bosnia....
This adnan is quite planned..... am I right bro??
*
ya true but why didnt the army proceed with buying more MIFVs when they were looking for tracked vehicle.

Prolly cuz MIFV only got open-top mg turret? prolly ATM want the same thing but with heavier punch so they buy the Adnans
*
they could have fitted turrets on

PT-91Ms and MKMs have elements from different countries.they could have gone with the sharpshooter,CM30 or Dragar turrets if they really wanted to

whats really the big difference between adnans and MIFV? they're both using the same M113 chassis
*
Nothing. The command version of adnan looks exactly the same as the MIFV except for the position of smoke canisters

MIFV was an urgent operational acquisition.condors couldn't stop skidding on the roads in Bosnia so they got the MIFV.
