clue is maybe the fella is ex Malaysian always come to lowyat to post but he migrated to spore since.
anyway why is a fellow ISAF personnel helping to clean dead bodies from an American Humvee? Isn't that part of the US Army job? They take pride in sending back the remains of their soldiers to their families, because for americans it is a very sensitive matter.
Durr we try the best we can but if it's an IED there's a likely chance the deceased would be missing a few body parts(missing eye, fingers or feet) so we try to search for all of it to be returned home.
not sure about anything other than a 30mm round to cause IFV to become butter.
but APC accidents are very common. Just like this morning when Star newspaper reported our APC turn turtle at one of our highways that killed two of our soldiers. I am not sure if its a condor or another model.
So far not sure what caused their death, but seat belts would be very useful in accidents like this.
So its not just a MRAP with high center of gravity problem, even APCs got this problem.
As I said before,it's an inherit risk of all armoured vehicles. APC accidents are not common.
The Sibmas is an old vehicle of course no seatbelts. The higher ups didn't see the need to to install seat belts because accidents aren't frequent

Helis take too long to reach a target and more susceptible to ground fire
But turboprops are really one dimensional, unless you're engaging in a small scale conflict where the enemy doesn't have any AA they're pretty much confined to training
lol.. thanks. its the pressure differences and noise concerns that baffles me. and considering that its always locked, if its an "emergency" it can be quite a thing i suppose finding the engineman on duty
Meh berak je dalam seluar.
Soldiers on recon or surveillance ops need to be concealed for hours to days. Where do you think we shit and pee?
I'm kind of curious for those who are at sea: what kind of entertainment allowed? The ones you mentioned above I think? What about internet? Are they still able to go online to check email/stream videos? How do they exercise when space is cramped?
You can bring personal electronics
Internet? Stream videos? it's a warship not a cruise liner
I was under the impression that a russian submarine often lack creature comfort. There's this video about a Kilo class where a enlisted crew have to eat their food in their bunk.
Well the typhoon was supposed to preserve nuclear strike capability for the soviets. Being submerged for months in the artic without amenities mati liao
iinm there are APCs in Sabah/Sarawak but only Cold War-era APCs like Sibmas and Condor which are thin-armored, and wheeled..wheeled APCs like those two they say not suitable for battlefield in LD..thats why they bring the thicker-armored and tracked Adnan APCs..
edited: after researching back last year's news..Condor APCs were the first to arrive and used in LD..afterwards 17 Adnan APCs are brought in..no Sibmas involved..
Condor was there first because it was wheeled. Mad dash to the front
Adnan was brought in because it was feared the enemy had RPGs and it could punch through the line
Interesting to see that the Condor was used as a mobile firing platform and raiding vehicle not as an APC while the better armoured and better armed Adnan was more infantry centric
KAD vs RMR tactics

The only armour unit in borneo is at sarawak....with only condor & sibmas (which is not suppose to be under armour corp at all). Armed vehicles that available in sabah is only G wagon in KK. Thats why at 1st days of invasion u could see only G-wagon deployed to LD.
Condor and sibmas in KAD is the relic from the 80s where anything with armour was slotted in Kor armor
