I think it's actually one of the cheaper Native figures at 14,800 yen. At 1/6 scale, summore a figure from one of my favourite artists, so it's a sure pre-order for me.

Native does not ship to Malaysia (for obvious reasons).
But anyway i cant afford it. It would be possible if yen is 0.03 but at current rates it is impossible - i already have other orders for all months from jan-April 2015. Figure prices have gone up by as much as 20%. For comparison, that means a figure than initially costs RM500 will now cost RM600.

1. The quality of Megahouse's figures are consistently amazing. I had the elf one, and couldn't be happier (though it cost a fair bit less)
2. If you are those 'bigger is better' collectors, then sure, look elsewhere. But, in my opinion this version of the sorceress is by far the best version out there. It's classier and the level of detail is unmatched. But yes, about the price. I wonder who decides this things. 18,000 yen is very hard to swallow. I'm still on the edge on this. I would really like to own it, but not sure whether i should take the plunge.

Thanks for the feedback! For me, Megahouse's figures simply look bland; they're well made, of course, but boring. I was really considering getting POP Nami, Robin and Perona but decided not to, because they all look boring for me. I know that's not always the case, so I'll give it more thought.

I'm more like "bigger figures usually mean more details, right?" kind of collector. Sure, I've had a few large scales that lack detail, and smaller ones that are super detailed, but I still prefer large figures simply due to them having larger "presence" in my room.

Of all versions of Sorceress I think I like the Orchidseed version the best. But just to be safe, I'll probably try to pre-order the Max Factory version on Amazon Japan and wait for the Orchidseed version to finish prototyping; this way, if the Orchidseed version turns out phenomenal, I'll cancel the Amazon Japan pre-order.

Orchid Seed is like a no-brainer option to me; very happy with their quality, and they are literally are a 'boobmaster', they are one of the best at sculpting *that part. Of course it still depends on which pose u like the best, there r other factors for u to consider.

If u ask me to name this 3 companies: Orchid Seed, GSC and Megahouse and ask me to rank them based on my experience, Megahouse easily ranks the last place (3rd). But it'd be to presumptive to say Megahouse's version will be bad even before release. It's not that they r bad, they produce decent figures but not quite up there with the top dogs in the figure industry.
