Yeah it's my first time. U mean i should save the status and start all over again ?

What I did was I used the sledgehammer and hammered him. When my sledgehammer worn out I ran around throwing those carts at him. Killed him on my first try. The sledgehammer is really good against bosses.

Firearms is the best way to kill the fat butcher. Either a machine gun or shotgun should do the trick. But I think mini chainsaw is quite effective, it'll kill him quickly enough before he can deal too much damage to you

Yesterday i tried the shotgun, and i only needed 1 more shot to kill him before carlito went into the machine

Will try the sledgehammer and shotgun again. Anyway, where can i get the machine gun ?

Machine Gun - either the gun from the convicts' jeep, or get it from 1 of the 3 survivors that stationed themselves in the gun shop. Just exchange weapons with that person

Went to the gun shop but no survivors. I guess it was too late ?

Finally i killed the butcher with shotgun

Ok now i all the cases, now what ? The special force is here, so i can do anything while waiting for the helicopter to arrive right ?

just finished the game . (72 hours mode)

any1 unlocked the 50 lives saver archivement yet? it's so hard when there's too much zombies and ur survivors might get stuck in the crowd and end up dead. Is it true that at night the zombies multiplied?

It's possible to get the 50 suvivors.. jsut well.. get the Megaman canon first!!!

That isn't the problem. The problem is the damn AI I'm about halfway through and the AI keep screwing up when they're going up to the vent (the one you use to enter the security room. Must climb a small ledge). I'm at the part where Ronald wants to look for food. Four of my survivors keep getting stuck. So the scoop expires and I'm screwed

i'm having the same prob 2 with the 50 survivors.
MobiusVyper, ur prob seems like not a big prob coz u can always point n direct them to the vent. my prob is when u gonna escort them. places like at alfresca and north court is full of zombies and my survivors will end up crowded by the zombies. another thing is that convicts outside. i've kill them once but they seem 2 reappear back after a while. wtf?

owh, any1 got the hellacopter archivement? i kept shooting it with machine guns and it's no use. summore the heli is so fast and i suck at manual aiming.

Waypointing doesn't help. Sometimes I just get lucky and they dont spend their time trying to go up first when all they end up doing is running into each other.

I've got Hellacopter. Well timed MegaBuster shots.

For the Butcher, I find that sledgehammer or katana is best. Just get up real close and swing/slash away. Somehow his attacks does not seem to affect you when you are swinging your weapon. You will get hung on a hook and he gets a few cheap slashes at you but just run and get to the milk cartons when you get off. Avoid the flying meat at all cost!

As for survivors, you may want to follow instead of lead. Use the waypoint to set a waypoint ahead and follow your survivors and hack away at any zombies that get in the way.

hella copter.. just unlocked but forgot to save, so there goes the SF uniform.
i used 2 snipers plus 1 machine gun to finish em off. forgot to save (ter-press guide button) then didnt get the SF uniform....

actually small chainsaw is best against butcher (or anyone for that matter), 10-20 seconds can finish him off.

now wanna go on third run to get more achievements (genocider perhaps). currently only got 660 out of 1000, at lvl 48

My Butcher fight lasted 2 seconds

Going through my second run..anyone has any idea how to get Kent (the photographer)??? He keep laughing at my photo!!

guys, how do u find the unlocked costumes? i've finished the game and i restarted it but it seems i can't find the swat (whatever u call it) uniform coz i've already unlocked it.
