QUOTE(andrewL @ May 22 2014, 04:50 PM) Bcz XiaoMi setup in Singapore for company but not in Malaysia. Same to Google, they have regional office in Singapore but only maintain sales and service department in Malaysia. Don't forget Singapore also multilingual. |

QUOTE(ychlee @ May 22 2014, 04:57 PM) it's ok don complaint not complaining, just wondering how they do processingreason becuz i do a comparison buying direct from taobao and from m'sia xiaomi official site, the total cost ship from taobao is around rm1000-1100... the price we bought rm889 include shipping which i believe it is very reasonable.either you receive the item this week or next consider pretty quick already. |

I think Xiaomi as a tech company can enjoy some benefit to setup office and warehouse in SG, Eg. Zero percent import tax and very close business connections to neighbor countries and some other developed countries. That's why they prefer to set up warehouse there.
