agreed. the price would not be so attractive if is not this way of marketing strategy. Online purchasing and reduce the cost and avoid middleman or scalpers to make gao gao profit. Just walk in any of phone shop and ask for mi3, bet you will not get this pricing... smile.gif
*
yep, what is say is true. Xiaomi are doing this since day 1 they started, so they can control the pricing and cut the middle man cost.

Only few shops selling Xiaomi Devices, and they already reduced the price to RM959 to clear their earlier stock. And I believe that AP set would be selling around RM890 - RM 920 to match the Official Set pricing. ( I might be wrong)
Look at other brand AP set pricing are below than Official Set pricing.

People intend go for official set as the Pricing are not that far differences (RM150- RM200).

QUOTE(Cynox @ May 22 2014, 09:35 AM)
hi, TS, please set up a FAQ section at first posts so that some questions are not being asked and asked repeatedly.

btw, dun just spam the thread and simply reply to almost every single post with some useless comments.  Post only you have something to share.  No point to rush every thread to 2,500 posts and start a new thread, what is The MOST fast moving thread!!! for if it is the result of spamming?  doh.gif  Jacking up your post count, maybe?  yawn.gif  Seriously, I just can't see the maturity in you to be a good TS like Joytest, XeactorZ, antt00, etc.

Last but not least, dun remind us to keep to the topic when we want to dig up your past or comment on you and threaten us with mod's warning.  I believe Baronic is well aware of the situation.  I think we will give you a chance to learn to be a good TS but we did make a coup to remove TS previously if we think the TS is not up to the task (with supports and permissions from the Mods of course).

Let's make the mi3 thread an informative thread like the other devices' official thread. cheers.gif

Oh yeah , I agreed to that

I'm very worried about the Sim card stuck as I'm using micro Sim now. what is the best way to avoid the Sim card stuck?
a) use micro Sim card tray provided by xiaomi?
b) change Sim card to mini Sim?
c) use micro Sim adaptor?
*
Go for Option A as it the best Option at this moment and Xiaomi already know that SIM Card Issue, this is what i gather info from SG Mi3 Forum.

bro is it safe to use the free sim tray provided?
*
yes, that why they give it free along with the set as Xiaomi are fully aware of the issue. Because most of the Phone now are Micro Sim Ready so this would be help the user to use with out any hiccups.

I trust the quality of mi3 but a little suspicious about their powerbank

Dont be, as they are using LG Batteries and Texas Instrucment Chips inside. If any defect found, sure they are going look seriously

its either ur friends' phone really dont have problems, or they are not really attentive hehe. before updating to kitkat, the touchscreen got some kind of problem, cannot play games smoothly as sometimes u press to go left, it doesnt register the movement.

after updating to kitkat, problem solved but then when i press back from any apps, instead of going straight to home screen it goes to show the last open apps for a brief moment before going to home screen. its actually little things like this that annoy me
*
Most of times are Software issues after update to KIT KAT, Looks LG G2 after update to KIT KAT, it has GPS locking issue
