QUOTE(budak minyak @ Jun 19 2014, 05:31 PM) Guys, should i buy E spec or V spec? Bcoz i think even with 8 speakers in V spec doesn't provide a good sound quality. Advise please should i take v or safe some money and just go with E. Apa lagi budak minyak mau? You said want to buy Cerato mah? Changed your mind?Basically if you don't care about side airbags, E-Spec is enough. E=Enough, V=Very Expensive. Get it?? Major difference between E and V is the side airbags. All the other stuff touchscreen etc, nice to have only...can get outside touchscreen cheap and nice. This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 19 2014, 07:38 PM |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Jun 20 2014, 10:02 AM) already decided to get city instead of cerato? Erm. Isnt security the same? Only the iside airbags gives more safety, right?you want the V just becoz of the Speakers? what about cruise control , iside airbags, auto climate air con, 7inch touch screen HU, alloy 16" rims and fog lights. if you think these are not important and u can change those aftermarkets one, then pick E spec, if you want more security then choose V |

I am in Hartamas Shopping Centre now. Just now parked next to a Honda City silver!!
Can compare with my Inspira side by side...no wonder the city boot so big...the car biot area was raised up...higher than my Inspira. The rear window view seems quiet small due to this. Do you guys have trouble looking at the rear view? Length wise, about same wih my Inspira. But width, I think my Inspira still wider. The silver city looks quiet dirt y...hmm...not sure if silver is a good color now. ... |

I left about 9pm+...the City was still there when I left. Dont remember the tint , quiet dark i guess. Silver is one of the tahan dirty color, black and white is the worst. I think it was a Espec. Saw side mirror got lights and non-touchscreen HU anf sharkfin antenna. |

Say, is there any auto head lights mods to install for this car? It is really a useful safety feature. This morning wad driving my Savvy in the car park..quiet dark, then this idiot Saga simply comes out from the t junction with out looking or stopping. Lucky I was somehow sensinh the danger (spider sense kicks in lol ). If I have turned on the lights my car would be much more visible. A lot of occasion going from light to dark places, auto headlights really useful.

Booked This Car On 12th May, 2014 And From The Honda Showroom Found Out The Flaws That Come With This Car Such As Dashboard Gap, Armrest Not Aligned In Center, Rattling Sound And Etc...I Really Suspect Whether Honda Malaysia Do Check For Quality Inspection Before Deliver The Car To Customer. Somemore Hari Raya Aidilfitri Is Coming Soon, A Lot Of Potential Customer Will Come And Buy New Car To Balik Kampung. Not Sure Whether This Time Round Receive The Car Will Incurred Additional Issue Due to Mass Production To Fulfill Customer Expectation In Tight Period Of Time. Why do you cap every first letter of a word? Very hard to read...I Still Consider Whether Is The Right Way to Upgrade My Current Honda City V Spec to Honda Civic 1.8S as Quality Wise For Honda Civic Will Be Much Better In Term Of Quality Materials. May I Know Is There Anyone Of You Found Out Any Flaws Come From Honda Civic 1.8S? I Need to Compile All The Information Before Finalize My Decision to Switch To Honda Civic. Thank you. |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 23 2014, 11:35 AM) Hi Pink Spider, thanks for your update as I do arrange for a test drive and it's really a powerful car for C segment category. With this price tag, it is well equipped with features as compare to competitors such as Toyota Vios and Nissan Almera. Overall, thanks for your advise on this cars. City is B-Segment lah...unles you are talking about some other cars. But, I do need you all advise in terms of loan agreement, as I known bank had approved my loan but the loan agreement will last for how long as for my understanding the car need to arrive at showroom and let us see the chasis number and further checking before signing the agreement. Hence, may I know the contract can last more than 1 month period? Thank you. Don't worry about loan, i think it's 60 days and can be renew, your SA will kaw tim for you, otherwise he no sales, he lagi panic then you. |

I dunno u...I almost always drive with music blasting away interior fittings little rattling sounds I can accept, as long as not sound from engine, gearbox or suspension. that u can really call "problem" This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 23 2014, 11:52 AM |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 23 2014, 12:17 PM) Hi Pink Spider, If Go Through Uneven Road Got Kraaak Sound and Winding Up Windows Also Having The Same Issue, You Should Report to Honda Service Centre As It Is Unacceptable In Which We Paid RM90k ++ and Get This Outcome. My Current Toyota Vios Year 2004 Until Today Did Not Even Have This Noise When Go Through Uneven Road Surface, Only Dashboard Having Little Noise Due to The Car Reach 10 Years. So, it is still acceptable. I have to agree...this is not kancil wei..must complain to SC...if lots of people have same issue, band together and pressure them like VW owners. If just winding up and down windows got sound, ok lah...if driving also got sound then kennot accept. This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 23 2014, 12:23 PM |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 24 2014, 05:51 AM) Hi Kaka90, seems like a lot of issue happen on Honda cars and it is kinda worried me even before my SA called me to collect the car. Based on all your feedback, I still consider whether is a good decision to switch to Toyota Corolla Altis as this car is assembled from Thailand and in terms of quality issue, should be well maintain as compare with local assembled car. I buy car not only consider for handling and feature, but it's also need to be long lasting for the next 10 years. So far, Toyota cars reliability is there and without doubt did not give me any problem when I drive my current car. Even Honda daringly come out with 5 years unlimited mileage warranty, but build up quality already an issue and mechanical wise did not able to fix the issue in a correct way, no point to get this upcoming car. I really suspect whether Honda car really up to the standard to train their workers on build for quality and not build for quantity like our local manufacturer cars in which paying high price but getting cheap car to drive in town. Hope you all understand the situation as we pay almost RM90k ++ but getting the car not up to standard. I don't mind fork out another RM30k ++ to ensure quality is there and reliability is proven. Joined yesterday. Are you Toyota salesman?? Keep comparing City with Altis for what? Don't understand C segment vs B segment? Dont understand RM125k vs RM90k??? The low end Altis cost RM115k minimum and don't even have VSA. RM55K Picanto also got. Our poorfag City E-Spec cost RM 80k+ also has one. Please go compare VIOS with CITY. Go look at VIOS thread and see how many people complaining there. You can afford RM125k , pls go buy Cerato 2.0, Mazda 3, Altis or something nice in the C-Segment. Don't keep complaining here. Hell, if i can afford to pay another RM40K, i also dun want City!! This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 24 2014, 07:52 AM |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 24 2014, 08:22 AM) I'm not Toyota Salesman here but I'm the end user for Toyota cars. What I means is a car need to build for quality and not simply build up a car and at the end have problem occur. I read the previous comment for the users who drive Honda City and realise why there are so many problem here and there in which we pay for a rattling sound car? Don't belip. Hehe. And you never reply why you never complain about the problems in VIOS thread??QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 24 2014, 08:24 AM) If I got such a big budget, I already go for Beemer, Mercedes-Benz or even Lexus. Totally different services they provided to us... You already mentioned you don't mind forking out another RM30k+...so go buy your nice C-Segment lah.QUOTE(Chester @ Jun 24 2014, 09:02 AM) hi guys, any discount for City at the moment? What is the interest rate like? Getting a second car, booked a Myvi but actually dont mind stretching my budget to 80k if its worth it See? This guy don't mind paying more, so he go hunt for City. No need to complain in Mawi thread how Mawi sucks compared to City.(Obviously, given the price difference)Chester: Discount is anywhere from RM500 to RM1.Xk. Not a lot...hot car, little discount. Interest rate around 2.6% kuah...maybe a little higher now. Yes, definitely worth it, if you can pay RM80k+,get the E-Spec. Even top Ahbeng VIOS TRD edition RM9xK also cannot compare to the E-spec. You can go test drive VIOS/Almera/Attrage and compare the performance, quality and specs. This post has been edited by Matrix: Jun 24 2014, 09:13 AM |
