If speedo can calibrate, so can your odometer. My understanding is, speedo and odo should not be recalibrate-able. Else, you could have ppl resetting their odo and then selling a 100,000km car as a car that ran 10,000km.

That's why u should select replacement size that does not run too far off from original size.

As ahsam1212 mentioned, anything below +/-3% should be fine. I aim for difference of below +/-2%.

Doesn't all the use car sales dealer already do that? Normal pratice mah...biggrin.gif

I actually shared with my SA regarding the defects of some of you guys encountered. He said that the dealer branch can reject bad quality cars to factory. So maybe it's the branch didn't do proper QC before handling over to customers. He also mentioned his branch nearby the Honda HQ, hence Honda people always come to service their car there...so they are always on their toes sked Honda people checking them....tongue.gif

==========
Initial impression:
Cabin sound is pretty quiet below 60km/h, maybe even a bit better than my Inspira.
Above 60km/h and on SPRINT/LDP highway, got a bit noise, but still not too bad.
I think i can save money with the soundproofing liao...

Suspension: Not as hard as i thought, actually pretty comfortable, maybe only when going over those small nasty bump need to slow down a bit. But my Inspira suspension is still softer (actually Inspira suspension is tuned very soft, until i need to install some spring buffer to reduce the bouncy feeling).

Mod done:
1) Llumar T-450 tint (SA advised put 2 days under hot sun to dry it up), the tint installer has also stick sticker on the power windows button to prevent us from touching it.

2) Pedal lock.

SA help me do this and kaw-tim already b4 we collect car.

Bluetooh Radio:
The bluetooth radio not bad wei, can bluetooth and import contact list from phone. Very useful.

Driving Experience:
Dunno...no chance to drive yet. But wife seems very happy and says very responsive and easy to get out of junction compared to VIOS...and she is driving in ECON mode all the while. shocking.gif

Now back at home, need to rest...whole day running here and there to fetch kid to various activities...damn tired....Zzzzzzz

(PS: I have ripped off most of the plastic and rape the seats liao...biggrin.gif )

All recently launched new cars also have some quality issues....Vios, Almera etc. etc. Even the Polo Sedan I checked out at a road show have uneven paint inside the boot (Some areas are only painted halfway!). But you won't notice unless you open the boot.

Nowadays everything also cut cost, it's inevitable. Just that some manufacturers hide their cost-cutting better than others.

Small issue don't bother lar, unless it's a big issue (like DSG/Dry Clutch/Powershift issues). Perfectionist will never be happy or satisfied. I choose not be perfectionist and happy. tongue.gif

Normal & smooth driving style..No heavy foot.
Just wonder the official page claimed 17km/Litre..How about the rest? Anyone can get higher mileage driving in urban?
*
That is highway lah, definitely can be achieve. Even my Inspira can do 14km/l on highway.

Finally get to drive it. Just initial impression, same as when did test drive, it's pretty responsive with good pick up...definitely way better than VIOS. Didn't do much cornering, just some highway stretch + mostly city drive. Steering is a bit light. Handling is really nothing to shout about....not enough feedback and resistance....but then again, this is not Honda Mountain Pass or Honda Initial D. Seats are pretty ok, decent enough and comfortable. I was mostly driving in ECON MODE (like most Malaysians, i yam kedekut minyak). Right now not use to the car behaviour yet.

Compared to my Inspira:
1) Acceleration from stop seems to be better, maybe due to Inspira weight.
2) NVH about same. Road noise of City can be loud above 60kmh...so far, i think i have not reach 100km/h yet. But Inspira engine is louder especially when rev harder. City's engine is mostly queit, its the road noise that take centerstage.
3) Seats of Inspira is superior, no questions. The feel and support of the Inspira Nappa leather seat is just too good.
4) Inspira has wider space, but rear leg room, may actually lose a little bit to City.
5) R&Handling. Inspira wins easily.

Basically both cars has pros and cons.....but my preferences will still be the Inspira....only drawback it's kuat minum minyak in City jam..which is what i face everyday....doh.gif

And oh yeah, i heard that 40km/h, turbo ignition sound kicking in...LOL.
