the car is still new. maybe wait for us to drive for another 3 years and we can comment on the reliability. but for sure, this gen's CVT is more responsive than last gen's 5 speed AT. i am still wondering why people said it is underpowered, maybe they couldn't feel the changing of gears.

oh also the "S" gear. drool.gif drool.gif

i personally like the stiff suspension of the city. gives me more confidence in handling and cornering. maybe it takes some getting use to time for you.

Mostly they cant feel the pulling power after gearchange hence lack of power. The cvt really a smooth operator.

Havent tested the S gear mode and i duno it was there when i test drove it... doh.gif

Is it more responsive when pull to S gear?

@dman - I haven't test S but even in D, I think it has enough pulling power. Pickup is good contrary to what I read earlier before getting the car. I have expectation that this car is sluggish. Maybe it is just me or you guys have different expectation.

Common, many members at FB group reported having this. The same sound will also occur occasionally when driving over rough roads or when u take sharp corners (when the car would sway sideways). My tint is only 4mil thick (thinnest of security tint films) so I don't think it's tint causing it.

I've already complained to SC, they said need to "disassemble and reassemble power window". I've got no time that day so deferred it to 10K km service since its no major issue.

Yes its annoying. sleep.gif

S is like "Speed" mode. some1 mentioned before when you switch to S gear, the gear ratio is reduced from 7 to 5. hence the gear only changes when the RPM goes higher. it gives more power especially overtaking cars. you can try it yourself on a straight road and see how the car reacts.

i'm using RaytechCS 4mil security tint. I dont think its the tint because for the first 2 weeks, there's no sound. It started to become noticeable since a few days ago.

The sound of the power window is as if the window has already closed completely, then the motor continues to force the window up hence the "krrkkkkkkkk" sound.

It is uber annoying. And kinda disappointing for a honda car to have such problem. If p1/p2 i can understand lah...

U haven't went for 1K km service, right? Complain during service, and update me (what SC did, how long to rectify it, etc).

If it's simple stuff I might even ask outside accessories shop to fix rather than spend half a day at SC.

this one confirm not lubricate problem. Must be the sensor malfunctioning to think that the window has not completely closed yet. What is this, 1985? still got such problem meh

yup, they said lubricate, even in the service report stated lubricated. they said my tint is touching the rubber, hence the sound.

i have a video, but i post in FB group already. let me try to find it...

Ooh, our sound is certainly not rubber/tint...it's mechanical/loose parts sound.

yup. If its rubber and tint rubbing sound, it should be noticeable from the window all the way from bottom to the top. Mine happens only when its fully closed.
