Hi there, i would like to seek advice for those who get the car recently. I  drove my sister city V spec and have some queries on this car:

1. The suspension is very hard especially driving thru the speed bump. (standard driver with constant brake and driving speed)
2. Can heard rain sound generated by the tyres is noticeable from the back of the car while the road is wet. Is it the insulation problem?
*
1. Honda cars are known to be stiffer rides (stiff suspension) compared to Toyota (goyang like sampan)
2. The tyre

Felt that my car is a bit too boring looking...need to do some cosmetic poisoning sad.gif

No bodykit for me cos I plan to do lowering suspension in not-so-distant future...what else can I do?

Done:

Wanna see u guys...

Do u keep Econ mode on all the time?

I think, I will only on Econ mode when
- stuck in bad jam i.e. standstill traffic
- cruising (not in a rush) at highway

At city stop and go driving, too slow throttle response...this morning a lorry at behind me kept honking me...mempersiasuikan badge Honda saja doh.gif

It's more suitable to use in housing area I suppose where there's a lot of road bumps. Takan u ht emerald hard then sgo slow again for the next bump.

I always use Econ mode.no problem with speed as I'm always looking at the rpm meter

I felt the opposite. I have to press the pedal harder in econ mode. The engine groans and I feel like wasting a lot of fuel...
*
The rpm meter says it all whether ur using more fuel or not

Brake/Speed Lock

Price - RM170-200
Brake - Press brake > Door Lock
Speed - Reach certain speed (normally 20KM/h) > Door Lock (Plug & Play)
QUOTE(oHkereD @ May 27 2014, 05:55 PM)
speedlock RM90 only, pure plug and play. to me it's very cheap as can install yourself and no wiring modification.

Guys, for V spec with 8 speakers, don't u think the speakers sound so so only? Really disappointed. How to enhance the sound system without cut any wire to avoid void warranty? Anyone did change their speakers or something?
*
Change the speakers first and ull feel a difference. No wire cutting needed but for HU u gotta ask the seller

Cars nowadays are no longer like the older generation ones where we just get in and drive without going thru the manual book. Might learn a few tricks from the book

just want to ask anybody when want to overtake do u press full your pedal or half only..i notice if u press half i feel like the gear slow to response and if you press full your engine meter will be going higher (should be this will eat your fuel consumption).

or anyone know how actually to drive using cvt, i mean proper drive when slow and when want to speed (emergency overtake)..
*
CVT us unlike the traditional 4 AT gearbox where it has to reach a certain RPM before changing gear.

To have good FC , just press the pedal slightly and the speed will increase gradually and the RPM can stay at 1.2k all the time till 60-70

If u wanna accelerate quickly, just floor it if u want and the speed will increase faster. Do note that u will NEVER feel the pull or the gear shifting like how u feel while driving a 4 AT

For CVT when you floor it, the rpm will increase first before the speed catches up that's why ppl say that the car is underpowered when it is not. The characteristics are just different.

FCK ur SA. U should b getting ur service booklet as part of the documents n books that everyone is getting while acceptance of car delivery... And who cares if he lost his job or not, if his service is bad, he deserve a bad rating. Simple as that.
*
Dude, screw him up kau kau, ur the customer and he has no rights not fulfilling his agreement with you. So what if he loses his job. Nothing to be afraid of him harming ur car cuz.he won't be attending you during servicing.

that was i worried about. if he hold my booklet now how i gonna go for my 1k service. sweat.gif
*
Demand it back from him. If he refuses, go to the admin and demand to see the sales manager or service advisor manager. They will give you one. The servicing has nothing to do with the sales person. No idea he hold the booklet for what.

Which outlet did u go to

What I know this queries is fume with cheating la  tongue.gif  I ask my SA as well as Honda Service Centre they told me as long as your car is reached 10k mileage, then only go for service. If you are those who drive less than 1k in 6 months, how to service the car in which your engine oil is still in tip top condition? It is waste of natural resources and not environmental friendly  whistling.gif

Any New Honda City drivers here facing problem that every morning after the car idle for long time, and the car go for about 200-300 meters, then there is a kind of switch sound from dashboard? is that normal?
*
Yes, it's normal. Someone here asked the SA before and he mentioned it's the system checking something, can't remember.

All cars the same
