ho guys.. what are the options that i have for edifier powered speakers(built in amp) as i want to connect it to my samsung led tv but do not want to invest in an amp or av receiver... ill need it mainly for warching movie... wanted something with good base and virtual suround if possible

Get an Edifier Studio 7. They're big and is capable to fill up the whole living room, and coincidentally I'm selling mine

S1000 (or studio 8) wont do the job for movies ?

S1000 will out perform the B7 and Studio8.

Depends on what movie. Studio 8 mid is lacking when there's action that emphasize movement, like supercar acceleration. This would be better on S1000 (presumably since I had S2000). However for explosive action, then Studio 8 huge woofer would blown S1000 away.

I'm also using my S2000 with my 50" Plasma in the living room before switching to Studio 8. Honestly I really found both have its weak points. I would strongly recommend something with a subwoofer plus about 20-40W RMS sattelite.
