Already renew yesterday...i juz bring geran n previous policy...10 minute only...receive on the spot...

I wont sell this kancil..too many good memory...this car help me lot during my study...couldnt imagine without him especially during my final year project...

But now i notice, its hard to find jdm bodykit through online...feel like mau pkai l2s bodykit again...summore kcarlife not active anymore rite?

Last time i bought l2s front n rear bmpr with jmode kit through kcarlife...that fella post from kuantan..forgot already his name...total cost include post is only 600...today...front bumper l2s only is already 400...fuh

every race sure got problem one..haha

major compression leak...engine can only produce 120hp despite 2.0 bar boost..suspected piston ring jammed not sealing the cylinder walls blush.gif

the engine was fully overhauled before this race..maybe something went wrong when assembling the engine blush.gif ...need to do compression leak test to find out where got bocor one

Stocks blow off valve is adequate already for the stock turbo..there's not much increament in term of power gain for aftermarket blowoff valve. Just increase the efficiency a bit on releasing unused air when the throttle closed to prevent backflow to the turbo.

Changing to aftermarket air filter closed / open pod does give some minor power gain but your fuel consumption will increase a bit with all that extra air coming in into the intake / engine.

Thanks for these info. Still using stock spare. Look like I need to change the exhaust and piping system too. Current exhaust consume fuel and legging too much, not enough power. maybe not sufficient fuel burning.

Own 660cc manual mata bulat kancil. Mileage almost 200k, enjin so bising, miyak hitam always kering before service due date. Mechanic quote me 2k for major overhaul (not include gear)

With that price, maybe Ill opt to l5 jbjl na engine conversion. Just want a long lasting stable drive, not speed sad.gif

Any kancil DOHC with manual transmission is the most fuel saving.
Get any kancil with auto transmission and there goes the fuel economy...

Manual FTW!

Hello All, Does any of the forumer has a stock steering and a exhaust for kancil 660 ready to let go? My kancil has a steering that was modified by the previous owner so as the sport muffler(i hate loud noise)

Hi guys. Long time no post. Hopefully you guys are good and healthy and all that good stuff.

Anyways, kinda need some help. Kinda long story. Hiks.

TL;DR - Car is overheating for the, idk, bazillionth time. Top overhaul?


My car has been overheating a few times since I did the engine transplant (JB-JL, around feb 2014).

Last year, about 4 months after the transplant, the hose (betul ke?), the small L shaped hose thing under the intercooler cracked, and the water in the radiator leaked. After changing all that, all was well again.

Then, somehow a few months after that, temp increased again. No leak this time. Decided to flush radiator, and sent for service to specialist. Pretty much cleaned the inside and the radiator sampai berkilat. And all was well again.

Then about last week, after reaching home from berjimba, as soon as I got out of the car, heard rumbling noises from engine bay. Temperature didnt increase this time. Thought it was the aircond belt, because that thing has been making that similar sound sometimes. Didnt care to check.

Then last night, went to KL and back (live in shah alam), about 2km from home, temp raised again. Stopped, and heard the same noise as last week. Apparently the water in the spare tank was boiling like crazy. Waited till cool, went home.

This morning, checked, all the water was gone. Refilled, let the engine run for awhile (15mins+-) then fan kicked in. So i guess fan is working. Kot.

Im not sure whether this time its the:
-waterpump or
-radiator cap or
-leak again or
-radiator fan.

Conclusion: Is a top overhaul in order? If so, where can I go to do this so I dont get conned? Im a noob. sad.gif

I have had to stop at the side of the road too many times now, and honestly Im tired of it. Ive been driving slow after flushing the radiator until now simply because I was kinda traumatized by it. Im scared of overheating again. And last night memang betul betul jadi lagi. Very stressful. Im driving a turbo charged car, yet i drive slower than an N/A. This sucks. Please help.

Seems like ur head bengkok oledi based on the symptoms..water tendang because of the leak compression air from the cylinder..

Buy engine kosong for about 500 will be the easiest n fastest solution..coz jbjl head cannot skim because the combustion chamber oledi low at stocks..

All the while i come across those non-monotone engine oil .e.g 10W-40, 30W-50, etc...
Then i saw some engine oil from petronas SAE 40 suitable for kancil?

As my dad was using my car while claiming warranty for his own car then he found that the engine oil at minimal level and he went to buy the Petronas SAE 40 and pour into it.

The problem now is it engine oil leaking pretty badly from the head gasket...

So just wondering is the gasket rubber problem or we are not suppose to use SAE40 grade of engine oil?
* Previously was using castrol gtx 20-50/30 50 if im not wrong.
