My motorsport weekend last week..tough luck for both event


Saturday Night Fever Final Round (Round 6) - Sepang South Circuit

Managed to secure 1st position during qualifying..but ended with engine overheating thus cracking the head after the radiator fan slip of it's mounting and get stucks between the engine..engine oil all over the engine bay..so it's early game over for us before the final race starts...huhu

Sunday WheelSping Trackday - Elite Speedway Circuit

Testing my Kancil DY after done replacing & upgrading the turbo after fallout in Kg. Gajah early last month...Unfortunately encounter problems on the fueling system - fuel pressure drop @ halfway run, suspecting faulty on the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump or alternator.

Contesting in Malaysia Superlap 2014 (Final Round) @ Elite Speedway last sunday

Managed to secure 1st place in Open FWD Turbo (unlimited CC) and 2nd place in Special-Kei (under 1000cc Turbo)

My onboard Time Attack last weekend @ Elite Speedway USJ Circuit

rhf4 running at 1.8 bar of boost

standard jcdet rhf4-vq40 can withstand up to 2.0 bar of boost.. provided with adequate fuel map to compensate on the extra air / boost coming in

Yeah..i'm using Haltech Sprint 500

Previously used AFC Neo..after that change to Haltech coz wanna convert to sequential firing instead of batch firing with stocks ecu.

Onboard my Yellow Kancil a.k.a #SiKuning in SNF2105 Round 2 Sepang South..unlucky intercooler hose pop-off in 2nd lap.

next event will be SNF Enduro in 16/05/15...Come come Sepang North Track http://snf.my/

Last Saturday SNF Racing Round 3 Enduro 35 minutes 2 Driver @ Sepang North Track..Finished 3rd place..

Intercooler hose clip fell off...again.. despite all the extra brackets and hard mounts we made after Round 2

My Run in yesterday's Generation-X Time Attack Competition @ Elite Speedway Circuit USJ

Managed to improve my personal best timing @ 53.46s (clockwise direction)

the intercooler issue is at another car #SiKuning..haha..the one i drove for SNF Sepang..

for time attack event, i drove the #KancilDY..the red kancil with those aero plates all over..haha

new intake installed.... RS-Ozaki from Japan for JB-DET / JC-DET

See what happen when got leak between exhaust manifold and turbine flange @ 07:00

yeah..i think need to spot-weld the nuts bolting to the flange for good next time

managed only 2nd place with that timing..

currently doing the long-due port & polish for the cylinder head..hopefully can improve the powerband a bit at higher rpm
