Ya the viva just got loud noise, but the car like struggling. He tekan tekan like wont move...lol I stock 660 AT also can catch up until he really pedal to metal.

viva same engine with kancil..so possible to use the engine in kancil..imagine stuff a mira avy turbo engine to kancil thumbup.gif ..but very expensive huhu..

No need Avy Turbo, use EF-DET or JB-DET best haha! Most also got EF-RL

i still want ask some sort info,if i using l5 dashboard ,the l5 rpm meter suit for stock kancil 850? because l5 is running 660cc engine...any one ?

Sifus here 3 piston ones better. JB-JL is 4 piston. Therefore smoother when cruising. 3 pistons easier to modify.
If you want more pick up and leisure drive. Then 4 piston engine like JB-JL. Cuz they say once 4 piston letup, parts not much as L2 engines.

i just about to diy CAI for my viva 1.0....

hahah...... viva really a easy going car......

but just wondering, can add roll cage ar.... for safety purpose

Can, add rollcage at your own risk if you can afford the long life installment once awhile.

Ya but like u guys said if want comfortable right go for 4 pistons, if really want to mod kaw kaw then 3 pistons.

But somehow my friend's L2s engine, the car interior and dashboard not vibrating, only engine slight vibration.
He told me if interior is vibrating means the mounting kong already.

Still 3 pistons easier to maintain and mod right?

Comfort wise will be 4 pistons right? But seems more aim at EF-DET instead of the common JB-JL.
JB-DET quite rare too.

JBJL, JBDET are suitable for cruising... balik kampung time feels really relax and engine less vibrate than 3 piston. however as i mention before if u want speed 3 piston (EFDET is my recommendation) is way to go. not saying 3 piston is not good at balik kampung but at high rpm u feel it vibrates more than 4 piston. personal experience laa...

anyways 3 piston easier to push more ponies than 4 piston. 4 piston u need to invest a bit.

anyways this is what sort of personal experience and some of the foremen experience so what ever engine u put inside kancil, just make sure u go to a reliable workshop or u will be spending more than u should. hahaha
