Public Bank is not really "transparent" with their definition of Dining / Grocery / Online Transactions

My first swipe below RM500 received the SMS Alert.
My subsequent swipes below RM20 didn't receive SMS Alert (I put my own box of RM1.00 on the form...)

Going to call them to change it to RM1.00. Until now still cannot register PBeBank.com logon

Public Bank will allow a minimum of RM100 for physical swipes, and any amount for "card-not-present" swipes (i.e. Internet based) to get the SMS Transaction Alert.

The Ramen Musashi at Eat Paradise 1 Utama is under DEPT STORE MCC (verified via HLB WISE)

Did the AEON CC slip states "DEPT" or "SMKT" (top part)

It's bull-shit on why can't they reveal the MCC for the transaction done ??? OCBC had no issue revealing the MCC

And the MCC is defined by the bank who owns the terminal (not Public Bank)..... unless PBB Visa Signature is based on "human intervention"

BTW, manage to get my PBeBank logon working after their IT "fixed" the unknown server error...

To create a PBeBank logon with your CC, follow this steps
1. Go to http://www.pbebank.com
2. Click on Banking (right at the bottom)
3. Click on E-Channel (right side bar)
4. Click on PBe Personal Banking
5. Click on How do I apply ? (right side bar)
6. Scroll down to "Option 3 - PBe Online Regsitration for PB Cardmembers"

An interesting feature on the PBeBank CC summary is "Authorised Charges".
This is the charge which was approved but not posted

I can't setup "E-Statement" also ..gets "Invalid Request"

That's why I believe this 6% will last longer (hopefully) than OCBC Titanium
