Had just grabbed an American Special for RM3800 from ori price of RM4500 last weekend, sweet axe for those who likes to shred (Jumbo frets) while still wanting that strat-y tone.
Personally to me the Special is a mildly 'hot-rodded' Strat, sounds SRV-ish due to the CS Texas special p/u.

There's a handful 20% discount on Marshalls (lot's of MG's), and stock clearance on Jacksons. And the usual s/c of Ibz Prestiges lol

Around RM4680, and as mentioned RM390 monthly instalment for Credit cards. I NEVER buy guitars from Bents unless the price is low and competitive with any online guitar seller out there.
And owning an MIA Strat does satisfy the GAS massively! (I mean, the heritage and all that...and not to mention the legends) Although the adverse effect is that you feel inadequate in your collection and thinking of more MIA strats in the future - and I'm not even a true Strat guy
