i dont know how to describe since just play a few times since Tuesday. but to my ears, bridge pickups i can so called 'clean' sound. I try to play Muse songs 'Assassins' with distortion, i can hear the riff clearly. And combination neck and bridge PU, its kinda warm. try few plucking in clean tone. just wow to me.

the neck kinda thin, a wide D shape.
inb4, Absolution is the last album that i love all their songs in the album. after that.... just 3-4 songs.

Hi guys, just a quick question...

where people normally (use word 'normally' instead 'best') put their Compressor in their pedal chain.?

example:-

guitar > NS2 > TS9 > Pre-Amp > Reverb > NS2 > DD3 > amp
i just play around, put compressor after reverb. sound tight to me. but just wondering, where most people put their compressor.
inb4: no wrong or right here.

Guitar pedals have a certain "recommended" order for them do be in (fuzz before phasers, reverbs last, etc). What are some of your favorite non-typical routes to use?

I think a good place to start is to reverse it entirely...!

I love putting reverb first... squashed and mangled reverb can really screw with your perception of space and ambience etc... and sound pretty awesome.

Which do you prefer: delayed reverb, or reverbed delay?

they'd sound pretty similar right? i reckon delayed reverb would be more mind altering, as the delay is replicating the ambiance and repeating it, making your brain go "woah why am i hearing the the same spacial reflections over and over?!?!"

Tartarus.. targeted to those wanting mayos and BMs.. sadly the modern metal hype doesn't last long here.. mostly local, average people go for average guitars unlike those overseas

On a side note, this is more of a bassist thing, but just in case any lurkers in here hehehe...I've been trying to get my bassist to take up the hartke bass attack, since the reviews put it fairly high up the "cheap & good" category. Any thoughts on it from fellow forumers on it, or possible alternatives? Wanted to recommend Darkglass B7K but a bit pricey.

Did you purchase this locally or order it from somewhere? Looks quite sturdy and compact, pricing pun not too bad (our plumetting currency not withstanding). Haven't had a chance to listen to the audio reviews yet, but it looks to have all the right trimmings.
