i think this is additional line to the existing MIK PRS SE

check out the models
http://blog.andertons.co.uk/guitars/prs-se...models-released
*
So the MIK and MII are concurrently available?

Im guessing they're testing the MII first before fully transfering it from korea to indo.

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Dec 21 2014, 01:28 AM)
you would need for PRS Usa to be a collectable first

pork might become halal before that.......
*
Hey, Cadbury is halal now. tongue.gif

who?

the most awkward name under that list (at least to me) is joey belladona. he doesn't even play guitar rclxub.gif
*
John Mayer. there was a discussion about him leaving Fender and now his name is in the PRS artist roster.

Lel, but I guess if you are an artist in the states, they'll throw a PRS at you.

yeah the shop is scarily empty... kind of pretentious really but I hope they will bring in more stuff.

Last I check the SL website they listed the Bangsar store as well as the one in Lot 10? So they will open in Bangsar as well?
*
I think the BSC will be their proper shop.

The one in Lot 10 is what they call a "pop up" store.

Yeah, that's what I heard as well.

Anyone compare the prices between Swee Lee and DeadEye?
*
QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 9 2015, 10:25 AM)
doesnt deadeye take stock from menuetto? which in turn takes stock from sweelee?
but of cos someone with no rent can probably offer a better discount.
*
I'm thinking Swee Lee gets a better price since they are the General Distributor for Gibby and Epi.

Even if you're running click and mortar business, still can't beat the volume purchase discount that would be given to an appointed GD.

i dont know how to describe since just play a few times since Tuesday. but to my ears, bridge pickups i can so called 'clean' sound. I try to play Muse songs 'Assassins' with distortion, i can hear the riff clearly. And combination neck and bridge PU, its kinda warm. try few plucking in clean tone. just wow to me.

the neck kinda thin, a wide D shape.
inb4, Absolution is the last album that i love all their songs in the album. after that.... just 3-4 songs.  sweat.gif
edit : add some picture of mine using my lousy phone camera.

Hi guys, just a quick question...

where people normally (use word 'normally' instead 'best') put their Compressor in their pedal chain.?

example:-

guitar > NS2 > TS9 > Pre-Amp > Reverb > NS2 > DD3 > amp
i just play around, put compressor after reverb. sound tight to me. but just wondering, where most people put their compressor.
inb4: no wrong or right here. biggrin.gif
*
two NS2? doood..... biggrin.gif

just wanna share a Q&A session about pedal arrangements from Kevin Parker (Tame Impala):
QUOTE
Guitar pedals have a certain "recommended" order for them do be in (fuzz before phasers, reverbs last, etc). What are some of your favorite non-typical routes to use?

I think a good place to start is to reverse it entirely...!

I love putting reverb first... squashed and mangled reverb can really screw with your perception of space and ambience etc... and sound pretty awesome.

Another one:
QUOTE
Which do you prefer: delayed reverb, or reverbed delay?

[–]tameimpalamusic[S] 263 points 6 days ago
they'd sound pretty similar right? i reckon delayed reverb would be more mind altering, as the delay is replicating the ambiance and repeating it, making your brain go "woah why am i hearing the the same spacial reflections over and over?!?!"

Tartarus.. targeted to those wanting mayos and BMs.. sadly the modern metal hype doesn't last long here.. mostly local, average people go for average guitars unlike those overseas  whistling.gif

Offtopic, kinda missed the old ESPs and their CS

With so many knock offs in the market these days, I really wonder whether its a good idea to buy Gibson / Epiphone stuff anymore. Mcm potong stim di sad.gif

On a side note, this is more of a bassist thing, but just in case any lurkers in here hehehe...I've been trying to get my bassist to take up the hartke bass attack, since the reviews put it fairly high up the "cheap & good" category. Any thoughts on it from fellow forumers on it, or possible alternatives? Wanted to recommend Darkglass B7K but a bit pricey.
*
Closet bass player here. tongue.gif but I use Dr. J Sparrow DI Pedal. Costs less than RM340 for a new set and it is one pedal my board needs if anything else fails.

It is a Drive and DI pedal as well, so you can get a decent tone out of it.

Aha! This is new to me - have not heard of this Sparrow before, thx for the heads up bro thumbup.gif

Did you purchase this locally or order it from somewhere? Looks quite sturdy and compact, pricing pun not too bad (our plumetting currency not withstanding). Haven't had a chance to listen to the audio reviews yet, but it looks to have all the right trimmings.

Bought it from Brado Guitars in subang jaya. You can find them on Facebook me thinks.
