QUOTE(ecitenoid @ May 7 2015, 10:17 AM) hehe... just do some experiment on the noise gate. but yeah.. if play high gain, kinda sound nice with two noise gate. have u tried the noise clamp? Basically it gates based on the guitar's input. seems to work for me even if i turn on boost, OD, amp OD, mid boost all at once (testing, i dont do that in a song).thanks for sharing.!!!! |

But it's still not in my budget now even though I'm working for a couple of years already. ouch.i might order a few items w friends on sweetwater so maybe express shipping might be worth it as will be getting a few items. have to check if i still have coupons/vouchers from them. |

QUOTE(quarantined @ May 29 2015, 05:05 PM) There are two mini screws at each end of the bridge post, you can move the bridge up or down that way. I got the GraphTech PRS bridge for my PRS McCarty. it looks similar to that.Still, not my favourite kind of bridge (I like their trems much better). I often wondered why don't they put in these more often: ![]() |

QUOTE(quarantined @ Jun 15 2015, 11:51 AM) Amps doesn't get a lot of love here. Give fractal a go at bald bears in DU, PJ. They have one for you to play around. However I thought the monitors provided was below average. What amps you guys using as your main amp? What are the best on offer these days? Anything within your radar? I really wanted to try a higher end modelling amps, seems nobody stocks them here, the fractals and kempers.. I've tried friend's fractal but not kemper though I kinda know a guy who owns one. For amps, currently using small amps. Currently using Ceriatone OTS20 Cream Tolex and a Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 at home. Well Music Master used to be the place to test out ceriatones. |

QUOTE(quarantined @ Jun 15 2015, 05:08 PM) Well, it definitely feels good as an amp modeler. Direcly recorded sounds is close to the real thing (mic'ed up cab) without all the hassle (those of you who have recorded know a cab sounds in a room/stage sounds and feels different once you mic it up and listen to it on studio monitors and record it). To tweak the axe fx you really need to spend some time on it (hence I dont recommend bringing your gf along when you are testing it. hehe).however to remember that most rock stars endorsing this gets to have the axe fx hook up to a good FOH / monitor system, some even to cabs, getting the most out of what they hear. most home users however dont even own proper good monitor speakers to hear what it is capable of doing. edit: i tested a friend's axe fx and not the one at bald bears This post has been edited by echobrainproject: Jun 16 2015, 10:03 AM |

if you are not gigging, check out BIAS. it is the fractal/kemper competitor in the amp sim plugin market now. Doesnt cost much too.
after all if you get fractal / kemper you will be playing through monitor speakers same as if you run through your computer > audio interface. Only thing missing is the pedalboard control. |

oh forgot to mention, my Mesa Mark V 25 has cabclone built in, means you can turn off the cab (speaker off function, internal load) and then you can plug in your headphones and play away.
similar system goes for other amps like the peavey 5150 mini, line6 DT hybrid amps, etc |

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Jun 19 2015, 02:17 PM) Shiet! I should totally get one. (Yet another excuse to splurge my money on something too much for me Good question! I've yet to try! for now I've only tried it through the cabs.Anyway how does it sound through headphones? hint: PM you QUOTE(ariffdude @ Jun 19 2015, 02:54 PM) I think for sure it's like 6k. Get the 6505MH la bro. RM2.5k only. Got the same function, can play through headphones. Nowadays quite common in lunchbox amps, like the IRT-Studio also. where to get the 6505MH locally? Wanna give it a tryThis post has been edited by echobrainproject: Jun 19 2015, 02:57 PM |

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Jun 19 2015, 04:12 PM) Oh really? Haha, don't really know what's going on these days, I've been out from the amp world for a couple of years. Ceriatone there's King Kong I think. But their high gain amps all high wattage. Gila loud.Yes thanks for the tip man! Any modern high gain amps from our local heroes, Ceriatone? The last I heard was the Chupacabra? Never really tried them but I've always liked their dumble clones (I love my OTS20!) QUOTE(ariffdude @ Jun 19 2015, 04:51 PM) REALLY?! Gonna visit them soon! |

Wow, no disrespect but how does one give himself such a title? |
