Woah, before this I always thought the "F" in F-spaced means Floyd Rose. You're right, I really learned the hard way that it actually means Fender.
Damn...

QUOTE(lky88 @ May 9 2014, 12:29 AM) Yup, so it sounds balanced, try to make sure the space between string and pole piece itself not too near or far as well QUOTE(Lucidus @ May 9 2014, 12:33 AM) If that's the case, what could I do to resolve this? Definitely not a good balance, too much volume variations on each string. Id have to disagree..pole spacing are cosmetic only[attachmentid=3963059] |

QUOTE(Lucidus @ May 9 2014, 12:40 AM) Yea man, didn't check properly before. Sigh. looking at that pic, the issue is more of your low E being too close to edge of board.Neck pup is also a bit off, but it's not as bad. [attachmentid=3963078] so either ur pic not shot headon, or ur bridge saddles out of alignment... |

Low E string doesn't give me problem at all, though I must say you are right, it seems very close to the edge of fretboard. I guess it's a good thing for me because it's easier to fret it using my thumb that way.f-space also wont help u...since diff between regular pickups is 3mm and from that pic the diff look like at least 6mm. anyway, what guitar is that? doesnt look like typical fender pickguard? Saddles aren't stock, they're Graphtech. I forgot how's the spacing like using stock saddles. It's a MIM Tele Deluxe. |

QUOTE(aneyekay1 @ May 9 2014, 12:16 PM) I actually love the idea of the p-rails (hybrid humbucker) but never like the look of them. What I did was; switched pups WITH pickguard, because the original pickguard that mounts the Fender Wide Range humbuckers has slightly bigger pickup holes (FWRH is not the same size as normal humbuckers). I also changed the saddles to Graphtech. I think each of this alter the string spacing and pole pieces alignment a little, but together they turn into this significant effect.Makes things (like your situation) hard to solve I guess I'll just bear with it at the moment. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 9 2014, 12:34 PM) I'm actually thinking of digging another pickup hole to make is HHH and then install Bigsby and then reverse headstock and then killswitch and then KORG Kaoss pad n then built-in Zvex Fuzz Factory and delay and then sustainer pickup and then piezo saddles with separate stereo jack. Urmmm, what else did I miss? |

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 9 2014, 12:43 PM) QUOTE(+3kk! @ May 9 2014, 12:52 PM) Haha it seems you two are really inseparable. One would go bore without the other and finally will drag the other into anything together. Shhoooo schweeeet! On another note, I just didn't like the sound of FWRH, hence swapped it together with the pickguard, and the Graphtech saddles are for longer lasting strings and to reduce tone over-brightness. |
