I'm beginning to like the "almost" at the end of the Prophecies. Its much fun compared to the early and middle stages.

No need to rush. Guild Wars is a casual MMORPG so play it at your own leisure time. Don't treat it like some hardcore MMORPG out there and you will enjoy what this game has to offer.

It temporary be permanent at the start of the game but you will be able to change it later when you reach the middle of the campaign that you are playing so try to make full use of the skills offered by secondary profession until you can change it.

By the way... anyone mind helping me get Master reward for some missions this weekend ? tongue.gif laugh.gif

There are no definite combination in Guild Wars since each profession has something to offer that will help other professions. Since you already chosen Ranger as secondary I think you can investing in :

Beast Mastery - Train your pet to be a good secondary tanker/distraction so you can nuke your enemy from far away.

or

Wilderness Survival - Traps and Nature Ritual skills such as Greater Conflagration & Winter helps in some cases & stances like Storm Chaser & Melandru's Resilience helps you survive & regain some energy. Troll Unguent is a good choice as well since it cannot be strip and Antidote Signet is a must.

You can also choose to use a bow which has higher damage but not really good for your energy management though. sweat.gif

Try experimenting with the skills and you'll find one that works. wink.gif

be careful , all BM have this weakness where if your pet dies your skills are disabled for a period of time. For a Warrior to have no blocking or damage skills for a few seconds and having to rely on the backline is pretty baed. It's not as bad when you are midline like where most rangers play biggrin.gif

The best way to play warrior is to not really care about your secondary profession.

Just as I thought aswell, focusing on upgrading the Warrior. My 2nd is Monk, which I only use the Spell purge and Resurrect. Hehe.

yar, Monk or Ele is the best secondary if you plan on frontline.

Elementalist has Conjure which adds +damage if you are using an elemental weapon. In PVP Air Elementalist has Shock which is a touch knockdown, it is used in top tier pvp for melee classes since you will always be in touch range.

Monk is usually used for condition and hex removal, mainly remove Blind and Soothing Images. Ritualist has Sight beyond Sight which allows immunity to Blind. But its not good to carry these since the monk should be doing his job, and warrior has low energy.

Since there are lots of warriors I think this guide is a must read for all of you.

Kinda busy with real life not to mention the urge to play GW is slowly diminishing...haiz mellow.gif . (Not to mention there's also my PSP which currently took up most of my time tongue.gif )

Master reward are extra/bonus reward (gold/EXP) you'll get when you complete a mission's bonus requirements such as killing a certain foe, complete within the time limit, save some NPC...etc. An extra weapon check mark will appear at the mission check point when you achieved the bonus requirement. In Prophecies you'll only need to achieve the bonus requirement to get Master while for Factions & Nightfall there are 3 levels (Normal -> Expert -> Master) mostly determine by how well you handle the bonus requirement. A mission will only register as "complete" when you get the Master Reward.

out of curiousity, which ones are you missing?

My opinions: The hardest ones are Tahnakai Temple (its very easy to overextend and screw up) , Eternal Grove (I did it the healbot way, during the lull you split and gank all 6 siege turtles in 1 go) and Dzagonur Bastion (split team once again)

I did do all with H/H so it's not too bad, but some missions in HM require help, especially Eternal Grove and Dzagonur Bastion.

you should be depending on the henchmen to heal you. If needed you can use Lion's Comfort (a warrior skill) to heal. The point is you shouldn't devote any points to Healing or Protection Prayers because the heal is very little unless you put a lot of points in, and if you do then you are lowering your damage output.

in Prophecies you can run condition and hex removal bcos the henchies dont carry it. Remove Blind and Cripple and those movement penalty hex.

[Rant On]
Urgh, RA is so different compared to when I started pvping in guild wars in y2k5. Feel like I need to facepalm everytime I see a sync, obvious Zkey farmer (boring metagame cookie cutter crap), rankwhore, etc. These players don't even play well, I get empathy on my necro (not even as a cover hex) or kd spam on balanced stance. :|

Feels like most players don't look at anyone else's cast bars anymore.
I really miss the old days of RA bloodspike/smiting and even smart wammos.
[Rant Off]

On the other hand AB is finally popular!! WOohoo! I guess I'm that bored... doing this much pvp. Only thing pve left for me is dungeons after all.

Well...a bit here and there through out all 3 campaigns not to mention I haven't been through all the EOTN dungeons yet sweat.gif . These things doesn't seem important until they announced that titles are connected to HOM which determines the reward you'll get in GW2. I want to at least get the Ithas Bow since I like playing ranger so much.

22/30 huh. is your character the same as the one listed in front page?

the EOTN dungeons dont count for protector. They do count for Master of the North, so does VQ and cartography. It's not a very fun title to max compared to the other ones.
