Hi Ganz.
Izit u bought it during the Canon Digital Camera Fair 2004 at KLCC? Dealer is Fotoflash right? The warranty is free extended to 3 years. And i sent a email to canon yesterday, received a call from canon this morning, tell me send it to fotoflash to claim warranty.

i wanna get s3 is soon so tempting, u guys use the view finder while taking snapshots?

Yeah.... Good practise before stepping up to DSLR. Also on Sunny days, the LCD Isn't bright enough, so you're better off composing your shot viewing the EVF..... wink.gif

Yup.... what you say is true and important for conserving batteries. But I still feel a bit weird taking pics using the evf with such a short lens. I feel more comfy when I attach my converter + Filter + Wide/Tele converter. At least my lens barrel is longer like a true DSLR...... But cannot fight ler.... sweat.gif

Safe bettery juice cos you don;t have to power your swivel LCD mah......

Anyway, so far I know only 2 available adapter for S3 IS. One is the original CANON one which is LAH-DC20 and another from "lensmate". The CANON adapter is on a 58mm thread and the Lensmate is a 52mm IINM..... sweat.gif

for watever device that is.. i'm sure it is best to take out the battery if not using for a long period of time.. battery may leak and some other reasons too.. correct me if i'm wrong..

i was wondering if there are any fisheye lens adapter for s3? i was told that wide lens is similar to fisheye.. I actually thought wide lens has got a wider view but not distorted unlike the fisheye.. i'm really curious.. enlighten me bout it.. coz i really like fisheye images..

i prefer original fisheye images than photoshop's spherize..

mmm... how many of us are active s3 user? so can get together one time..

so that one with other eqp (tele, wide, ext flash or etc) can bring along theirs..

or may be some of use have a D.I.Y (like one forumer in steves-digicam make a flash-extension arm so that can use ext flash...
